While unboxing the chair, I was really impressed by the feel of the leather. You can tell that it will last for a while and plus it is super soft yet firm at the same time. I have had this chair just over a week now. Although it’s pretty comfortable overall, this is a chair for “big & tall”, which I am not. I work from home and previous chair was about 19.5 inches wide. This chair is 22 inches wide, so does make me feel a like a little kid sitting in an adult chair. So if you are a smaller framed individual, your arms might not rest on each arm rest at the same time. Again, overall a comfortable chair. Only took about 20 minutes to put together. I did need a second set of hands attaching the back of the chair to the butt of the chair. But still a pretty simple chair to put together.

This chair is exactly what I needed. It was easy to assemble and is very roomy, sturdy, and solidly made. After searching around for a while (both in stores and online), I decided to go with this one and am very glad that I did. I am a big guy, 6 ft. and 250 lbs. and wanted something that could more than handle someone my size. It seems like the weight cut-off for standard size office chairs is around 225 -250.lbs. and why get one and take the risk that it might become an issue? I bought this so I could stretch out my legs, but I wanted a footrest that was at least parallel to the floor or slightly elevated. This built-in footrest pulls out easily enough, but holds my feet at a downward angle, which is pretty worthless. (If I want to put my feet up, I want them UP!) Aside from that little disappointment, it really is a comfortable chair.
