I purchased a 2-pack of the cameras and found them so useful that I bought two more to cover the rest of the house. They are very helpful for checking on my dog when I'm away. The audio feature is a nice addition, but it confuses him when he hears me talking but doesn't see me, so I rarely use it. Installation of the cameras was super easy and the app works great to control the cameras and see what is happening in real time. The only negative thing I've found about the cameras is that I have to reconnect them to the network any time there is a power outage. I live in an area where the power goes off about once a week. It usually just blinks off and comes right back on, but that is enough to disrupt the connection and I have to go to each camera and reconnect it to the network. It's easy to do and only takes about a minute for each camera, it's just a hassle to have to do it every time the power blinks off for a second. And if I am not at home when it happens, the cameras will not work until I get home to fix it. There are probably cameras available that would not have this issue, but they are significantly more expensive. So, for the quality of these cameras at the much smaller price, having to reconnect them from time to time is a minor inconvenience. ... show more

This product does exactly as advertised, great picture quality, many settings available in terms of audio, camera direction, follow movement, etc everything seems to work well and for the price it is hard to beat. Not extra small but not bulky, in fact more peace of mind when putting in a suitcase less worry to break.... I have used in several places, hotels, airbnb, etc as long as you have the wifi password and the app on your phone, you set it up in minutes (sometimes seconds) and go. Set up was so easy once you have the app installed on your phone. We use it for checking on our 8 month old pup while we’re at work. Love that you can move it with the app a whole 360* and track down your pet. We’ve discovered a couple of things that could possibly be a hazard because we’re able to monitor her movements and was able to get rid of that danger. Just because they’re not messing with something while you’re home doesn’t mean they’re not curious when they’re bored. There’s an intercom so you can interact with your pet, kids or an intruder. You can set up motion alerts so it would be great for knowing if there’s an intruder in your house as well. We only need one to watch our puppy but you can hook up multiple cameras and switch between them within the app. I honestly can’t believe how inexpensive these pretty good quality cameras are. Keep in mind that you’re not paying a fortune for this camera so don’t expect high end pictures. The video is crisp and clean with adequate lighting. I’m including a pic of our pup (chewing on a coat hanger which we’d forgotten to put away.) so you can see the clarity of the picture. Give it a shot. You’ll be impressed too. ... show more

I had an issue with the mubview app, it would not let me create an account to register my device. So I emailed customer support and they got back to me pretty fast! They told me their cameras are also supported on CloudEdge, so I downloaded that app and was successful. So far since then, it’s been a great camera for the price I paid. I can move the camera remotely 360 degrees, and up and down. There’s 2-way audio that I love!! You DO need to purchase an sd card if you want it to save recorded video, but live viewing is good. It’s not battery operated, so you do need to have it within reach of an electrical plug. It came with adapters so I could mount it on a wall if I chose, but I don’t have the need for it. The audio is clear unlike my last one (another brand) and it alerts me when there’s motion and starts recording. I ordered the cards, not the exact ones suggested, but knew I needed micro cards. The cameras arrived and I had already download the app on iOS. Mudview for android exists also. QR codes on box. Easy to read , simple step by step. I didn’t right away figure out where card went. Quick look at booklet, under camera. A few beeps and lights blinking and you’re rolling. Make your password and user name now. So you just plug camera(s). I went sequential. From the numbers on bottom so I know which camera I assigned to what area. At first didn’t want to sync with my router so had to manually do so. Again I figured that out with no call. Looking at box , or booklet. I talked to cat while out and about. Just to use the feature. Long cord. Motion detection, night vision, alarm to movements. If you only want to watch for humans, you can set that. I have one watching backyard. Just to get everyone. It’s spring. I’ll see my groundhogs , birds, and squirrel neighbors Anything you’re wondering about, I’d be happy to see if I can answer. If not, I’m sure there’s a 5 th grader around to best my 15 mins to set up. Do not be tempted by sellers on Walmart. If another company using Walmarts app they aren’t to be trusted.
