We've been using ours for a few weeks now and are very happy with it. Assembly wasn't too bad. I think it took me ~1 hour? Fairly straightforward. I like the adjustable hoop setting. I set it up at a low height, my kid used it for a day, then requested a higher setting. Easy to do. Went together in about 45 minutes, instructions were a little confusing since it just uses pictures and they're not exactly clearly printed. The adjustment requires unbolting and redoing - something requiring a second person. The base is flimsy but okay once filled with water. The poles do lean easily so I put some sheets of plywood underneath and it leveled out. Note: the backboard has a thin protective film on it! Many say it's not clear like the picture, just peel off the sticker and it'll be clear. Overall, for the price, not bad by any means. If it lasts a year, it's worth it. ... show more

This was a Xmas gift. I shopped and shopped and shopped. I finally came across this one and did a little bit of research on it. The value, quality and shipping were PRIORITIES. After some careful thought and asking my wife lol…. We bought it. It arrived and I stashed it outside in the shed until Xmas eve. I built this at 11:00pm lol and it wasn’t very difficult at all. Instructions were very easy and it came with tools for assembly. Overall the quality was actually pretty good. We went out on Xmas morning and it was a hit! This hoop is perfect for our middle school age kids, not too fancy but seems pretty durable. Decently easy for one person to assemble. Unfortunately, the bag of powder to mix with water in the base had exploded in the box somehow. THE WARRANTY IS ONLY 60 DAYS. The backboard started warping after about 8 months. It started curving. Month 13 the backboard just cracked all by itself on a windy day. It didn't get knocked over or anything, just cracked from the wind. IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT SHATTERPROOF. Literally the wind shattered it. So we live in Florida and I acknowledge that maybe the sun and rain are a little harsher here than other places, but the fact that it only lasted 13 months is ridiculous. I got in touch with customer support and they do not have replacement parts for it. They were not willing to do anything to help me except offer a worthless apology. So even though it says it is shatterproof, it is not. That is a lie. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY SOMETHING BETTER QUALITY WITH A BETTER WARRANTY. ... show more
