This mascara is great and works better than a nearly $40 Lancôme mascara that I recently purchased. I’d been getting lash extensions for years and recently decided to give my lashes a break and switch back to regular mascara. I wanted something that would give me a lot of length and separation as my lashes are very fine and lack volume. I purchased a very expensive Lancôme mascara as I’d always had good luck with them. Well, after maybe 5 uses, the Lancôme wand snapped in two pieces and I was unable to use the rest of the product. I was mad and didn’t want to spend another small fortune to replace it, so i started looking for a cheaper option. That’s where this one came in. And oh my god! It works even better than the Lancôme. I’m dead serious. No clumping, so much length and so much separation! The application is easy and mess free and I’ve found that there’s been pretty much no smudging or transferring even when I get sweaty. I hope this mascara is around for a long time because it truly works better than almost every luxury brand that I’ve tried. I’ll continue to purchase as long as it’s being made.

I needed a new mascara and purchased this based on reviews. This is a great mascara that gives volume and length. For something different, I decided to try the color "Burgandy Haze." I am fair-skinned with hazel/green eyes and usually buy mascara in Brown. This color brings out the green in my eyes and, surprisingly, while it looks burgandy on the brush it doesn't look that color on your lashes. It just looks like a rich brownish color. Very pretty. Great mascara and will purchase it again!

My favorite mascara! I love it so much I put it on subscribe and save. I prefer the dark brown color because it’s less harsh than black. I have very short lashes but these give length. They don’t really give thickness but this works perfectly for what I need.

I have a complicated relationship with mascara. I don't exactly love it, but I kinda need it because my lashes are so light blonde that when I don't wear any, I look like I don't even have lashes. One complicated aspect of our relationship is either they change, or I do. I LOVED Tightline by It Cosmetics - even wore at my wedding - but they changed the formula and the product was drying up in less than two weeks. I wore the super cheap Essence waterproof mascara for a couple of years, then it started irritating my eyes; they could have changed something, or maybe I developed an allergy; I'm not sure. I even thought I had found a holy grail in Lancome's Définicils, but then *I* changed my esthetic and decided I wanted to wear brown to meld better with my strawberry blonde hair. That's how I arrived here. I watched a strawberry blonde Tiktoker discussing her makeup routine, and she uses this in brown. She said it was a true brown, instead of a black-brown like most mascara companies make - which is kind of insulting to us, the customers who want/need a brown, but the companies think we're unsure of this and the difference between black and black-brown is not even noticeable when you have it on. 🙄 I don't know if I would consider this a "true brown", it's definitely not black, but it lacks the warmth and brightness of a true brown - like the brown of Cabaret's mascara (which is beautiful, but doesn't go on well and clumps terribly). The Sky High has a similar applicator, but the formula is much better - more smooth and creamy and not clumpy at all. It's also a tubing mascara, which, if you haven't tried a tubing, you don't know what you're missing! It stays put, but comes off with just warm water and a gentle tug. That is the biggest reason I'm giving it four stars: it DOES lengthen a LOT, without clumping or adding too much volume (I'm not a fan of the voluminous mascaras, myself; I prefer one that improves color and definition). If you like black, or black-brown mascaras that will give you length, without adding volume, and prefer a rubbery, spiny applicator over a thinner brush or spoolie type applicator, this one is for you. I just place more priority on color because I have none on my natural lashes and black can look too harsh on my fair skin and with my light-colored hair. So, off I go! On my quest for the "perfect" mascara...

The Maybelline Sky High mascara line is a great product. I come back to it every couple of mascara cycles. My favorite is actually the primer - it's a super buildable, non-smudge TINTED formula (I can never get the white to fully disappear with traditional white primers) that can easily double as mascara with 2 or more layers (perfect for travel). Much better value than my other go-to primer which costs $26 I recently got the Sky High mascara in burgundy, after not buying this line in a while, not to mention not using anything but black or brown mascara since the early 00s. I'm still really impressed with the formula and the burgundy is perfect for making my green eyes pop.

I've tried many different mascara brands over the years, both high end and cheap. This is the best lengthening mascara out there. It doesn't do much for volume, but it makes any lashes look long. The brush is easy to use and thin enough that it also coats corner lashes and lower lashes. It's buildable but you only need to swipe on a coat or two to get your lashes looking longer. It's never irritated my eyes and it doesn't flake off at the end of the day. It's relatively easy to remove with soap and warm water or makeup remover wipes. The Cosmic Black color is very dark black, which I love. This is my top favorite mascara! It will always be a staple in my makeup bag.

I am obsessed with Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara! This mascara works wonders to make my lashes look ridiculously long—like, sky high long! The formula is buildable, so I can layer it for extra volume without clumping, and it really defines each lash for a full, feathery look.
