  • Nice upgrade for this classic rock music lover!
Size: 600W Amplified 10"
This subwoofer is a great addition to my 2008 Jeep Wrangler. It sounds way better than the OEM Infinity that failed. The wattage isn’t crazy high, but it thumps! I’m very happy with the purchase so far. The install was easy, power, ground, remote, and audio inputs. The box is solid. I made two simple mounts from “L” brackets. For my application, a grill is some sort would have been ideal. An amplified 10” subwoofer for $109 is hard to beat! ... show more

  • Nice
Size: 1200W Dual 12"
Came earlier than expected date. Nice solid box. I have a 2007 G35 coupe and I was hoping I could fit it in my trunk standing up but unfortunately trunk does not close so I'll have to lay it on its back, no biggy. Gonna have my friend install it next week and I will update my review and add more pictures after sound test. *UPDATE* Got everything installed from my friend who's been installing stereos, speakers and subs for 15+ years. Wired up everything and tested it out and right away after he turned up the bass from the amp we smelled a burning scent and it was coming from the subs. We touched the middle of both subs and they were getting hot just after about two minutes of testing it out. So he unscrewed one of the subs and cut the positive wire from one side of the connection and cut the negative side from the other side of the connection and just crimped those together and fixed the problem; no more hot coils. Unfortunately I didn't snap a picture of what he did but I'm sure you can imagine what he did. Really good sound from inside with very clean, deep bass. Dubstep and Trap sounds AMAZING. Inside the car sounds nice and good while from the outside it's not too overpowering so you won't really have to worry about disturbing others while idling next to them at the light. Some mentioned that if you don't have a hatchback vehicle that it won't sound good if the seats are up and blocking the trunk - well it is not true. In my G35 coupe I leave my back seats up blocking the trunk and it still sounds great. I had a 97 Civic hatch with two 12s and it sounds almost as good as that. He mentioned to get better subs though after a while. These are good subs with good sound but the amp can push more so get some better subs in the future he was telling me. In conclusion, I am very pleased and satisfied with this setup. A definite buy and bang for your buck. You will get the deep clean bass you're looking for, for $150 so I am keeping my 5/5 stars on this deal. I was a little iffy from reading the other reviews but trust me you will get the bass that you need. ... show more

  • Only buy if you want the enclosure. Everything else will blow up.
Size: 600W Single 12"
Lasted about 2 months. After taking almost a month to get it. I initially tried to cancel the order after the third delay update but it declined the cancelation. Kind of wish I'd just sent it back now obviously but it finally came in so I installed it. (I'm a certified mechanic with an electrical background. I know what I'm doing). I was just hoping the price point wasn't too good to be true and it was sad to say. The amp is not rated to the sub and is dinky so no way it was going to output its rated numbers anyway. But even with a strong ground (over measured) and installed "by the book" to give it every chance... That little amp blew up. I'd understand if I was running it at full level and gain and stuff but noop that little amp blew at less than half settings in a well ventilated environment. Sad face. Oh well I was really only here for the sub so I installed a 250 watt rms Pioneer amp in its place and kept the settings even lower. So low in fact that no perceivable heat was coming off it.... Aaand yesterday the subwoofer blew so bad I thought the voice coil caught fire as the entire car filled with electrical smoke. I'm extremely disappointed because if you take the junk amp out of the equation the sub and box are actually quite good looking and felt and sounded quality.. But it would seem that all I really bought and waited for was a decent quality sub enclosure because even the wiring kit is sub-par. So if you need a nice subwoofer enclosure buy this then give away everything else because you'll be replacing it anyway. So I don't think I can recommend this brand because that was money in the drain unless they have a really good customer service department. ... show more

  • Good sounding subs for the money, read for instructions
Size: 1000W Dual 10"
Now before I start out, these are not by any means competition speakers so they aren’t going to blow your hair all around when you play some rap. However they will rattle some stuff around in your car so they are pretty good. Those competition speakers are $500+ for the speaker alone, Moving on; Tuning: I have seen a few reviews saying they are experiencing problems with overheating, if your gain is maxed out that is exactly why your amp is overheating because you are capping your subs. To properly tune your amp you need a oscilloscope and set it to 20v a/c at 5ms and play a 40hz sound mid volume. If your wavelengths flatten out at the top that’s called “capping” and will destroy a subwoofer and amp and ultimately overheat. Your gain should be around 50%, your head unit is what sends the signal how hard to hit. If you don’t have an oscilloscope then take it to a professional and they can tune it for you. I’ve seen way too many car fires from improper tuning of an amplifier then they blame the manufacturer. Next, these sound really good in a hatchback and suv…. Like really good. In a truck/car in the trunk, face your speakers towards the back seat and you’ll get a good sound. Unfortunately they aren’t really good in a convertible but really finding one that will work in a convertible is extremely difficult to do because limited space and top down you’ll loose a lot of sound. They are absolutely well worth the money. Great starter subs for sure. Not a competition speaker but a great speaker for rock music and some rap. Don’t hesitate to purchase them and follow my instructions for proper tuning. Happy buying! You will not regret it ... show more
