This box has great sound for rock AND rap music, it’s tight enough to feel the kick drum in rock but loud and boomy enough for rap/hip hop. The pre installed polyfill is of good quality and well installed with no gaps. It definitely helps this box sound good! The mdf material used is heavy and solid, screws will not easily strip out like cheap boxes. I used long agressive deck screws after predrilling the holes. My sub is a Pioneer TSW126M (easily the best budget sub out there for all music tastes.) I used Amazonbasics 14 gauge wire from the terminal to the sub. I would recommend soldering to the terminal for bigger subs. My JVC head unit has the sub low pass frequency at 60hz with a slope of 24db. My speaker high pass is at 80 with the default 12db slope. I’m running the sub off a Class D Pioneer amp. Alpine 4 channel A/B for my door speakers. Good luck with your budget builds! This box is worth every penny! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Good size port, good build quality, lots of polyester filling on the inside. Only complaint about it is they used screw down wire holders and not spring loaded push downs but either way box is nice and sounds good af. Using a SDR 12” in it. Before I used a Jensen 12” from Walmart and it also hit hard af in this box too ... show more

They could have done a better job on the material that covers the box. Has area that were not cut correctly or even glued down to the box. Rather than waiting on a new box, I just repaired myself. But based on the cost, you really can't get upset. Overall. it's decent.

Great quality. Fit a sundown sa12 perfectly and it sounds phenominal. Nice, deep, clear lows. Box is thick, could carpeting and insulation. Fit snugly in the trunk of my 2010 camaro.

Awesome little sub box for the money!!!! Seems to have a quality build. Would highly recommend soldering your speaker wires onto the terminals, it didn't come pre-attached. No biggie tho, nothing 5 minutes of time wont fix. It brought killer sound and bass out of my Power Acoustik BAMF 12. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ... show more
