This little fan can move some air and do it quietly on either of the 3 settings!!!! Less than 5 minute install and ready to go even the remotes. The extenders that are included for floodlight/canister lights are just the right length to get the fan away from the ceiling but not hang down into the room and cause a head injury. The LED light is perfect to be a nightlight or great for brightening a dark space. It too has 3 different settings. The fan is very easy to use with the small remote that even comes with its own holder that can be attached to the wall with a screw or sticky card. They thought of everything! The fan blades are plastic so if you’re using this in a humid space it makes them easy to clean and allows for longevity of the product—no warping or mildew/mold growth. I purchased three at once and will purchase more for the attic and closets. I have recommended them to my entire family. I found this the best way to get air moving in the small room by my bathroom. With limited use of my left arm I was able to install this like screwing in a light bulb. Easy. What was even better is that it runs quietly and moves a bunch of air with the 3 speed fan. The light is adjustable as well. Overall I am very pleased with the construction, ease of installation and versatility. It sure beats having to install a ceiling or vent fan in the bathroom not to mention cost savings. The remote is also easy to use allowing 3 fan speeds along with 3 light intensities. The unit is not as aesthetically pleasing as a regular ceiling fan, however given how well it functions and the ease of installation it is worth it. Basically it operates quietly with the only noticeable noise coming from the blade wash of the fan. I give it 5 stars and a very high recommendation. ... show more

What an amazing item. My laundry is in garage and the light fixtures do not adequately light the area. Add to that how warm the garage is much of year here in the south which makes it unpleasant while doing the laundry. I did not know a ceiling fan which screws into a light socket existed till recently but the idea is amazing to me. I purchased this fan and gave a call to my electrician/handyman and he installed a socket in ceiling and I was all set. Not only do I have a cooling airflow but the light can be adjusted to different levels and both fan and light is controlled by an included remote which has its own holder which we mounted to wall. This fan not only improves laundry day but I tend to use the top of machines for messy projects like repotting plants, painting touch ups etc. The light and air will make those jobs much nicer. ... show more

This fan is perfect for the small powder room we have. The fan has several speeds, as well as several settings for the light. I think for the price it is a good value. I'm not giving it five stars only because the noise is a little annoying, but other than that, I highly recommend it. It functions great for airing out the room, and the color blends in with the ceiling so you don't notice it. I purchased for my RV. The main bedroom didn’t have any lights that you could turn on and off by a light switch they were all a push button. I went last season without anything and it was cumbersome to have to deal with the push buttons on the ceiling lights when you would get into bed. I also get hot at night and needed a fan. Putting our fan was bulky and in the way. I found this on Amazon I thought this may be the perfect solution. I purchased a desk lamp light socket used nano tape to tape it to the ceiling and I had my light socket. I put the socket light fan in and it worked amazingly. The light is bright, has three brightness levels and the fan puts off tons of air at high or small amounts at low. It was well worth the purchase. We put the remote ate the door so we can turn the light on from the door and take it with us to bed and turn off when ready to go to sleep. This was a fantastic purchase. ... show more
