UPDATE I still love the amazing Belkin MagSafe car charger. My update is for a MagSafe case, one manufacturer, MagBak for iPhone 12, 13 and soon, 14. It is the strongest MagSafe case you can buy. Not on Amazon, go for it. A 12 with this case stuck in a lifted wrangler LJ, off road, amazing. Good luck. The research was hard and challenging to get the best wireless magnetic charger for both iphone XS max and iphone 13 pro. My requirements was 10+ watts of charging and strong magnetism, no phone drops over bumps. I own an Apple iPhone XS Max and Iphone 13s. I was looking for 10+ watts of charging, to be able to run WAZE and streaming, while driving. Also, driving a Jeep Wrangler SUV, the magnetism has to be strong for a phone not to drop. The Apple Magsafe puck charger is not stong. For the XS Max, I used a clear case and the stick on Sinjimoru M-Plate. For the Iphone 13 Pro's, I used a good Magsafe case. The result Magnetism: Perfect and strong over large bumps, no phone drop. Charging: Using a USBC watt meter, both phones showed between 10-11 watts, amazing. The phones in their magsafe cases, also still work on the at home wireless chargers. One note, I wanted to use the Belkin in a RAM mount setup, using the dual 17mm to 1" double RAM mount adapter, perfect. I have the Ram mounts with 1" sockets and the adapter pops right into the Belkin. No need to use the vent mounts in my Jeep. The Belkin did such a great job, thinking of using in both my childrens cars that dont have the ability to use RAM mounts. Experience feedback, the magnetic cases for the XS Max are not strong enough. Use the Sinjimoru M-Plate and a thin case. The "best" Magsafe chargers, other than the Belkin, are not strong enough and dont provide 10+ watts of charging. The highly rated, ESR Halo, was strong, but I only measured 5 watts of charging. Summary: Use the Belkin Magsafe compatible charger, best magnetism and charging, use Sinjimoru M-Plate and thin case for XS Max, iphone 11/11Pro, and use a good quality Magsafe case for the Iphone 12/13. It works good with iPhone Pro Max 13 with MagSafe cover. I am using it on Chevrolet Sonic AC air vents, it never fall of in last few day on bumpy roads. It charges well at same time using USB C cable and built it charger. if it fails to remain mounted on my car AC vents, I was thinking to use it as a table top charger but that will never happen I think ... show more

I find this to be a bit expensive for my taste, but considering it will also wirelessly charge your phone and it has a cable included to do so, I suppose it’s reasonable. What I can say is everything was packaged well to include the instructions and it is clear this is a quality Blekin product. It’s easy to assemble and quickly Mount on the car vent and most importantly, my iPhone locks in with the MagSafe and doesn’t move. I drive a small pick up and when I hit dirt or gravel, it stays in place. Best part is you can use it in portrait or landscape and no loss in its ability to hold the phone in place. Ultimately I plug in a cable directly to the phone to use with car play, but if I ever get wireless car play, I can see the appeal of the wireless charging and no need to wear out the phones lightning port. I would highly recommend this and I would buy it again. If at any point it’s under $39, buy it but only if you want a good quality vent mountable product. ... show more

Holds the phone good but the clip which goes to the plastic vents grill felt apart several times. There’s a metal clip falling out of the rubber protector and so the whole phone holder falling down

I chose Belkin because I wanted the most confidence in the MagSafe magnets and boy does it deliver. I'm using this with an iPhone 13 Pro, Apple MagSafe Silicone case, and an AINOPE MINI PULL-RING USB C CAR CHARGER. It was easy to install. The magnetic hold is perfect and better than I could expect. The phone snaps to place and comes off in a reassuring manner. In the short time I have had it, I have ridden over train tracks, bumps in the road, and sharp turns with no concern. The wireless charging aspect works fine. I'm not sold wireless charging is better than wired which is better for the environment and produces more efficient charging but the non-charging Belkin equivalent wasn't much cheaper at the time of my purchase. I like that this version frees up my lightning port for connecting to my car speakers if I also need to charge. Aesthetically, the product looks great and matches my car interior. Would I buy again? My last one of these car chargers was a totally generic brand called PTDHPRO. It worked great but even better the way it fastened to your car vents was secure. It died for some reason after I upgraded my iPhone from 12 to 14. I’m not sure if it died or if a protocol changed. I do know a 15 doesn’t work either. I bought this because Belkin is a recognizable name one thinks they could trust. The way it attaches to the vent is nearly useless. You go to take your phone off the charger, it pulls off the entire charger. I will probably return them (I bought two). ... show more

Really nice mount. It has the circle of magnets and the lower magnet to prevent the phone from spinning. So it is a true MagSafe. It also chargers pretty fast. The issue is my phone case is only a bumper case and the power cord placement on the bottom kept pushing on the bottom of the phone causing it to keep slipping off the mount. I tried really hard to buy different cables. But after buying 2 different cables, trying every cable in my house, and bringing the mount into Best But to shop cables, I ultimately ended up having to return it. I am giving it 5 stars because my phone case is pretty unique. Any other mag safe case would work. ... show more
