I have had this for a year now, it works great. I had it installed in some 25 mph winds and it kept my awning steady and did not let it flop around in the wind. Used this on a camping trip to the beach. For moderate breezes, it worked perfectly. But when a good stuff breeze is blowing, it’s still a good idea to retract your awning. Just not worth the damage. But in a light to moderate breeze, probably up to 12-15 mph, it works awesome. Wish we’d bought this item sooner! ... show more

I love these straps. I used to have to roll in my awning in windy or stormy conditions because my awning would not stay in place and the camper would be swaying like crazy.
