I have had this for a year now, it works great. I had it installed in some 25 mph winds and it kept my awning steady and did not let it flop around in the wind. As long as you get the anchors screwed into good ground this thing is great. There was a lack of instructions (none) that came with it, but it was easy to figure out and use.

Used this on a camping trip to the beach. For moderate breezes, it worked perfectly. But when a good stuff breeze is blowing, it’s still a good idea to retract your awning. Just not worth the damage. But in a light to moderate breeze, probably up to 12-15 mph, it works awesome. Wish we’d bought this item sooner!

I love these straps. I used to have to roll in my awning in windy or stormy conditions because my awning would not stay in place and the camper would be swaying like crazy. I really did not believe these straps would work but i have had zero issues since installing them. Amazing i can actually use my awning rain or shine! 👍

Straps and springs worked great at the beach. Used longer anchor bolts for added protection in the sand. Happy so far and looking forward to additional use.
