I was a little wary that it would not be sturdy or a thick enough fabric at this price, but was pleasantly surprised. Fully suited with the long gloves, it works. Suit was a litte musty, but defintely kept me safe as I removed a yellow jacket nest under our front porch. gloves are heavy duty and impervious to wasps trying their best to sting.

My husband and stepson recently went to bee class and now we have 2 hives. They are both 6' tall and this suit fits them both comfortably. No complaints from either of them, and they've worn this multiple times around the bees.

OK suit, but it's tiny. Our smallest person here, who's usually in a small or medium, doesn't fit in the large. Because it's one piece, you can't really bend over or make any stretching movements. The suit itself isn't bad; thin material, but not bad in terms of proportions. The gloves are thinner than cowhide, but not terrible. Good coverage.

Ok. Don't laugh when I tell you WHY I got this. My area is directly in the path of the double locust infestation (plague) this year and I hate them. They are big and creepy and noisy and they are around by the tens and tens of thousands and I live AMONG a LOT of trees! I have to take out the trash daily and put the bins alllll the way at the end of the driveway for trash pickup. I do not want those creepy creatures flying and landing all over me. So, when I saw this, complete with head covering I had to JUMP ON IT! Now you can laugh. The material will withstand the big creatures ... MUCH bigger than bees ... and the helmet/face piece will keep them away from my hair, face, mouth, nose which is what I fear the most. If you have any reason to need something to fully cover you ... tip of head to little toesies, this would be worth it. Hope it lasts the 6-8 weeks of the infestation. lol

This is a very good suit for the beginner beekeeper or someone who just wants to dabble in apiculture. The out fit fits and provides good coverage and safety but I did find a few weak spots in the outfit. Nothing that would be catastrophic but if you find a determined enough bee you may get stung. I have my nephew using this one as he learns about relocation of colonies and so far so good.

This suit ultimately is made for protection from stinging, and it's great in that regard - though don't overlook footwear options that protect your ankles and feet, such as rubber boots! The helmet zips securely to the suit with a nice velcro flap to keep the zippers in place, and the sheepskin gloves cover the arms well past the wrist elastic, to double ensure the bees stay out of the sleeves. The material seems strong and durable, and the suit is plenty big enough for our tall teen. NOTE: ignore the "waist circumference" measurements on the sizing chart, they have no connection with reality. Go based on the height sizing and size up for bigger folks.
