Put it in an upstairs guest bedroom that didn't have a lot of room, so this lamp worked great as it doesn't project from the wall as far as most wall mounted lamps. Purchased a dimmable LED bulb to go with it and it works great. I appreciate that it doesn't have a hardwired bulb that you cannot replace. Didn't have any issues installing, but if you need detailed directions the ones that describe what to do are very basic (i.e. wouldn't be very helpful if you don't know generally how to mount it). I wish the base of the light shade fit more snuggly or used the bulb as an anchor to hold it in. It just sort if sits on top of its base. ... show more

I love these light fixtures. We have 4 of them in a sun room. Theyre on the wall between windows. Because they are close to window trim it was tricky to install them. It's very nice to be able to adjust the brightness.

They look very nice and seem to be built well. Thought they might be too small at first but turned out to be the perfect size. Easy to assemble. Easy to mount no matter the installation. * If using dimmable LED bulbs you need to turn them all the way up then dial it back down to get the full dimmable range. I hung this near the head of the bed on the side wall. I put a little shelf near it, so guests could charge their phones nearby. The lamp shade is wobbly, but it is working perfectly.
