My husband went from his hospital bed to our day bed. This pillow gives him just enough elevation he needed. It helps with his snoring. Unlike myself who tosses turns atleast 20xs night. He sleeps n doesnt move I did put a plastic blue pad inside the zip cover to prevent any wetness. N I put small pillow on top... It's not tall like the big ones to read a book. This wedge has been a boon to my neck and shoulders. I suffer from year-round allergies and ear congestion and can get vertigo if I don’t elevate my head. The only way to get enough elevation with my normal pillows was by using 3, which was too many, and causing issues with my neck and shoulders. This wedge allows me to use one ergonomic pillow on top, and has been a game changer. Only thing to beware is sleeping on your back with the back elevated seems to add more pressure to the lower back so I was waking up with a super stiff lower back for the first few days. I’ve learned that spacing your legs wider relieves this pressure. It’s also quite comfortable sleeping on this wedge as a side sleeper. Only disappointment was that the wedge never quite fully expanded after I unrolled it from the tight roll it was packed in. The vertical side of the wedge is still deformed and not quite straight. But this hasn’t detracted much from its overall usefulness. I added another large pillow case on top of the white one it comes in because white gets dirty no matter how often you wash it, especially from skin oils. ... show more

Recently experiencing nighttime chest pain from acid reflux so wanted to try an inexpensive wedge pillow to see if more comfortable, am happy with this version. First- reviewers are unhappy with the description of 7.5” - agree, the company needs to correct, I measured 6” MAX and that is ok because aren’t you using a bed pillow as well? Wonder what the 12” offered would really measure? Some other also not happy -but they posted using the pillow upside down…the flat is the bottom, curve top (as shown)! Pillow has a helpful removable sheet to keep washed. Normal cut foam, nothing fancy, mine is def not hugely indented like some are showing.
