I immediately found this and chose this due to the number of reviews and that it could be delivered that day. Setup and installation couldn't have been easier. There is a strap that goes under the bed frame and attaches to this rail for additional sturdiness. My mom says she feels a lot more secure sleeping with this. It's sturdy enough for her to use to pull herself out of bed and the pockets on the side of the rail are nice to hold her phone or remote. Really pleased with this.

The media could not be loaded. I selected the AOHHL bed rail because it extends further under the mattress than most, for added stability. I’m very pleased with it. Though the upper grab bar wobbles a bit, the entire rail is secure even when I pull or lean against it. I have an adjustable bed and the rail stays in place when I raise the bed head. The soft rubber covering on the grab bar gives a comfortable grip. I got the grey version and the color is pleasant. Assembly was super easy. NOTE: Assemble pieces in the order shown in instructions. If not (like me), you might end up with the holes not aligning with the pop up buttons on the bottom brace. That’s easily fixed by switching the long straight rails.

This bedrail is simple, and sturdy. I liked that the part going under the mattress is long, so the weight of the mattress holds it steady. We were not able to use the strap as we have a platform bed with soft sides and had nothing to attach the strap to. But the rail is tall enough for our thick mattress and is sturdy without the strap holding it.

The instructions were not clear however, I had to try variations to complete the slide portion. It's not difficult, you just have to observe where the buttonholes are on the rails. I installed alone lifting the edge of the mattress then pushing a corner of the device under the mattress and pushing. It's very secure even without the strap.

This bed rail is very sturdy and well made-- it's non-moving and stable when my medically recovering mother-in-law uses it to help her sit up in bed or as a rail to hold when getting back into bed. I like that it includes a strap that mounts to the bed frame for additional security, and I love the pockets--perfect for holding remote controls, a small flashlight and other items.
