This is a great support rail for those who need a little extra help getting in and out of bed. It wasn't too hard to assemble, thankfully so because the directions aren't much help. There is a bag of screws and an allen wrench, but it isn't clear where they go exactly.

The last bed rail has a long length at the top which made it difficult getting in and out of the bed. This one is tapered and that really make a difference. Well built, no curve at bed to handrail. This one is construction so much better than the last one I had.

My father broke his hip recently. When he was able to come back from the hospital, this product made sure he could stay in bed, as well as get in and out safely. We are going to keep them up permanently for my Dad and Mom. Highly recommend this!

I am a stroke victim with partial paralysis on the left side. The hospital bed that I have at home raises at the head and foot. When I put this unit in the middle of the bed, it stopped me from getting out and until it was removed. Without left side paralysis, it would probably work for someone who could get out of the other side of the bed. It felt secure when it was in.

This is perfect for my husband. I like the side handle which helps him in and out of bed. The storage pocket holds the remote control for the TV. Our bed does not have a bed frame, so the Bed Rail is firmly tied to the bottom of the box spring. The box spring and mattress are on the floor. I have looked at other bed rails and this one was the best for my husband.
