The package arrived in excellent condition and all items were accounted for. The directions came with list of materials, large pictures and precise directions. I am a 75 year old female and I had no trouble assembling, sliding the support under my queen size adjustable mattress, and threading the attached belt under the queen size mattress and attaching it to the other side of the bed frame. There was plenty of length on the belt with a large amount left over so I am sure it would have also been long enough for a king size mattress. The belt grip was easily tightened and all has held steady w/o slippage for the weeks it has been attached. I also purchased the led light w/bag. It is set to automatic and faces toward the outer side of the bed. It lights up when my husband gets into bed and turns off in 60 seconds. He is glad to have it to light his getting into bed. There was a one year warranty that I emailed to the company. Sara Lindergh the owner of the company has reached out twice by email to kindly check on the purchase. I and my husband are very pleased with the product, the assembling, and the quality/endurance of the railing. We are both sleeping well knowing the rail is functioning as needed. Note: As mentioned in the railing description this 13” rail can be used w/our adjustable mattresses w/o hinderance but the longer railing can not be used as it would hinder the movement of the bed’s adjustment ability. My wife has a medical condition that makes it difficult for her to get into or out of bed on her own. We looked at a variety of different bed rails, but we didn't want something that made her feel like she was in a prison - or even a hospital for that matter. Everything we examined had some fatal flaw as far as we were concerned - that is until we found Lunderg Bed Rail. The video sold me on trying the bed rail... and I am delighted to report - the installation is simple - once tied down properly the rail is STABLE - it looks like an attractive add-on to the bed - not like a hospital room - and the motion activated light is a wonderful and thoughtful addition to the product. Most important - my wife can get in and out of bed SAFELY and entirely on her own - and of course, it would prevent her from falling out of bed if got too close to the edge. This is a long review... but we have been dealing with a partial disability for several years now... and this is one of the best - most useful things we have come across. A lot of thought and good engineering went into this product. Thank you Lundberg!

This did just what I'd hoped, keeping my husband from rolling out of bed and providing a good strong handhold for him to help with getting in and out. Very easy to install, and surprisingly robust. The little automatic light works great too, and I was glad to see you can set it to a lower level of brightness, so it doesn't wake the dog when one of us gets up in the night!

I got this bed railing because it was small and fit under my adjustable bed perfectly. It holds my things very well. It’s very sturdy. And is a small size and weight. My only complaint is the same as other reviewers have said. The light. The light always shines, but it constantly falls off. It fell off so much that I don’t even use it. There is no way this will stick in the spot that it is supposed to. So if you don’t care about the light, this is a good buy.

Giving my mom a bit more independence to get in and out of bed has been a saving grace. She gets up several times a night and is able to help herself in and out of bed with this little assistance and stabilization. She must have a deeper mattress, because the handle does not sit as "high" as the one pictured here, so it's not quite as obtrusive looking. It is also lightweight and portable enough that I can bring it in the car to use at a hotel (although it does not fold flat, which would be a bonus). Definitely recommend.

I bought this for my grandmother who turns 98 next month after she came home from having a pacemaker implanted. With the limitation of not being allowed to use her left arm to bare any weight or to raise it above her shoulder for 4 weeks, one of our primary concerns were her managing getting in and out of bed safely on her own using just her right arm. I ordered this on Amazon and this truly is the reason she’s able to get in and out of her bed safely on her own entirely. It’s secured to the bed frame and feels sturdy. She instantly felt where to best grab it to pull herself to a seated position from lying down and where to position her hand to push up to rise to standing. The bag is handy too. She put her tv remote and a flashlight in there. Her first night home was a stormy night, so I liked the battery operated light being on the rail plus having the pocket to put a flashlight. This product is amazing! It helps exactly how we wanted it to and was the right height for her and really did function with ease for her to use. We would absolutely recommend it. She knows this product is what’s allowing her to get in and out of bed with the freedom she’s accustomed to. She was saying how pleased she was with it as she practiced repeatedly getting in and out proudly entirely on her own..
