Extremely helpful. I was so thankful I had it after my back surgery and although I’ve recuperated, I still use it to get out of bed. I like the pocket holder on the side where I can store my phone, glasses, and remote for my bed. I would recommend this for anyone with arthritis.

It was very good quality but since my bed had board piller on the bottom frame it didn't work out and returned, better a more flat one piece mattress frame.

I eagerly awaited the arrival of this product - a bed rail to assist a person with mobility issues in bed. It is designed to help them get into and out of bed and it may also be used to help a person turn onto one side in bed. Sadly, I was disappointed. This product does not appear to be very strong/sturdy, and it wobbles slightly from side to side. It certainly couldn't be trusted to be used by a person much more than 225 - 250 pounds at the most. Unfortunately, the company does not provide any height or weight guidelines for using this product. I think the product is a great idea. It is portable and ergonomically designed. Both the height (18-26 inches) and the length that goes under the mattress (17.5-21.5 inches) are easily adjustable. Everything you need for assembly is included in the box it comes in. No additional tools are needed. It took only 5 minutes to assemble. The one I received appeared as though it had been used before because the rubber pads at the end of the railing part that extends under the bed were discolored, and all the other rubber pads were white. This product could probably also be used on a couch or loveseat. Again, my biggest concern is the stability of this railing for individuals of a larger size. The company really needs to put height and weight guidelines on the box or in the instructions - though, the instructions were minimal at best. This would be a tremendous mobility device for a small to medium build person but I would not trust it when working with a person who is much more than 200 pounds. It would be helpful if this product came in a small, medium, large, and extra-large size. I cannot presently recommend this device without height and weight guidelines, nor would I purchase it again without those parameters.
