You can adjust the height easily with this bed cane. It's easy to put together and works great. Very sturdy and doesn't move out of place It has a light that goes on when it senses movement and it's dark.

Well designed and simple, this rail is strong and easy to put together. It's also very good because of its modest dimensions -- the handle isn't that wide, so it doesn't take up space and doesn't block access to items on a bedside table. But I give it four stars because I didn't see a warning that there is a minimum clearance from mattress to floow. Please make sure your bed is not too low! Ours was and we had to return this rail because its vertical legs couldn't shorten enough to fit under our mattress. We have an electric bed and setting the rail below the head-end fold was fine, but again, the whole bed was too close to the ground for this rail to fit! We had looked for this smaller size handle for a long time. Too bad I didn't take a photo -- nor did I measure the clearance but maybe the manufacturer can respond or post a minimum clearance from floor to the bottom of mattress. ... show more

This rail is easy to assemble and use. I like that it has a rechargeable light that slides in the pocket, just in case. It also has a pouch that velcros to it and you can keep thinks like readers in it. It is very sturdy and perfect for what I needed!
