This is a good product for the elderly to assist them getting into and up from their bed. It is easy to assemble. The strap that comes with it to hold the bar in place is for the width of the bed. It would be nice if it could fit the length as the bar being pulled to the side is not too stable. I was able to jam the bar inbetween the bed rail and the night stand which made it a little safer for my client when she pulls on it to get up from her walker when seated and onto the bed.
