The product is very well made, is very sturdy, and it only took about 5 minutes to completely put it together and get it put in place on my bed. I got this mainly because I am getting older and the fear of accidentally rolling out of bed and injuring myself is very real, as I recently broke my rib in a fall a few months ago and my fear of having it happen again has intensified a lot. And I really like the added bag that is held in place by Velcro which has 3 fairly good sized pockets for storage of remote controls and other items, and one rather large zippered space for storage as well. The rail is adjustable to raise or lower it depending on your specific needs. The rail is very solid once put in place between the mattress and box spring of my bed. I have been able to use it to help me stand up from sitting on the beds edge as with old age comes stiff joints. Overall I just feel safer and I would definitely recommend it to anyone as a preventative measure for rolling out of bed in the middle of the night. And also to help aid in mobility while in bed. Overall I would definitely recommend the product as it has multiple uses for different people. I ordered the Boiarc Bed Rail for Elderly Adults because my mom has fallen twice recently trying to get out of the bed in the middle of the night. The problem is that the box spring and mattress plus topper are so high so you have to kind of slide off the edge of the bed. This bed rail was easy to put together and is highly adjustable to fit any size mattress and also to accommodate whether you want a low handle to grab or want it sticking up. It is 'L' shaped and just slides between the mattress and boxspring but comes with a strap that wraps around the mattress to keep it secure so it doesn't pull out when pressure is on it. We purchased this for my 84-year-old mother, who because of failing strength has a hard time getting out of bed at times. She says before she would have to try and rock back-and-forth in order to gain enough momentum to be able to get out of bed. where is now she can Use her arms and help pull herself up without nearly as much energy expended. Overall when we first opened it, I was a little unsure of the quality but once we put it together and actually felt how sturdy it was it reassured us. My husband is recuperating from leg surgery and I'll be getting my knee worked on soon and this has already been an amazing help. It was so simple to assemble and put in place. My husband's 68 now and this has it made it easier for him to get up, especially during the night. He can keep his cell phone and medications in the bag which make this even more convenient. This is a great quality bed safety rail. It was easy to put together (Everything is inside the bag) if you can't find. It is very sturdy. In addition, the piece that goes under the mattress is very long. The length is great because it keeps the rail more secure. Good quality at a reasonable price.
