My old hair dryer diffuser combo broke. I ordered this one out of curiosity to replace it and was shockingly surprised. It’s a better shape for a more ergonomic approach, and dries surprisingly well. The air flow is much slower than my previous hair dryer, and yet it somehow works the same if not better. Left my curls looking great and frizz-free (2b/2c shoulder length shag) and dried quickly with warm air and low speed. Perfect size and shape to toss in a travel bag as well. I purchased this item on December, as a Christmas gift for myself. I started using it since Christmas, and less than 6 months later it stopped working. Even when I paid attention to care it accorded to the manual, the engine started to fail, troubles with the power on, the fan slowed down and finally, a couple of days ago, it just turned off in the middle of the styling. The design is cool, the resulting styling is great, lots of volume, just as I like. But THIS ITEM WAS DEFECTIVE and when I contacted the company, they didn’t want to help or take responsibility for selling something defective. I wonder, how much more people will be scam with a defective dryer, like me? And I say scam because they didn’t offer any solution. I’ve had this for about two years now and it’s been a subpar diffuser. The wide mouth gives you more coverage but because of the flat design, the back of it tends to grab stray hairs and snag them, which slows the fan.
