Love this hair dryer. This dries my hair really fast and the sound is not super loud. I also like how easy it is to clean the back of the hair dryer and the way it’s designed prevents my hair from getting caught in it

I was a little nervous about getting a refurbished hair dryer, but I am glad that I took the chance on it. It looks practically brand new with the original attachments. I have 3a/3b thick curly hair. I’ve worn it short for a couple of years & now I’ve decided to grow it out. It was taking forever to air dry & was getting frizzy. It took me less than 10 minutes to diffuse my hair & I love the shine. It is a little noisy but not too unbearable. It can be a little heavy with the diffuser attachment but it’s very manageable. Product does a nice job. Seems to be a slight delay to start after pushing On button but may be normal (?). Unit is a bit heavy and cord is very thick so using for travel probably not a great idea. The options for settings and nozzles are appreciated with the magnetic attachments working well.

    • Power reduced over time. Dryer keeps getting louder.
I have had this now for 1.5 years. It was fantastic when I first got it. I felt like I was in a wind tunnel and my hair would dry in minutes. Now it's so extremely loud and the power has significantly reduced where it takes me now 10-15 minutes to dry my hair. Not what I expect from a Shark product.

The media could not be loaded. I was in need of a new hair dryer and while I was initially nervous to purchase a refurbished one, I’m glad I did. The power on this thing is crazy good. I have naturally curly hair and the diffuser attachment is great, I can use the high speed, which puts out some serious power, and have no issues with frizz or loss of curl pattern. It sounds about the same as my old hairdryer on high, but the low and medium setting is quite quiet. I have long hair and it takes about 15 minutes for me to diffuse it instead of the 30 it took previously. The styling brush tool is great, and I love that they are magnetic. I don’t find it to be too heavy, and while it does have some weight on it I’ll take the speed and power over a few extra ounces of weight any day of the week. ... show more
