Started growing a beard and I have hair that curls even in the driest of weather. As it got longer I would get strange looks from people when out in public as I resembled the unhinged homeless guy that somehow made it into a public place. It heats up well but the hair you’re trying to straighten does have to be fairly long or this will have minimal success. It loses its charge rather quick, so charging it every other day is necessary especially if you use it every day. It’s nice and heavy so it doesn’t feel cheap, never use it with product in the hair you’re combing or else it is difficult to clean. Make sure hair is dry, it can short out very easily and it’s the one thing the company warns about that they will not refund or replace for. Other wise it’s a great product and I am glad that I bought it.

Others complain about power limitations. I’ve not had a problem as long as I plug it in every third day. Obviously would be better with a charging stand so it is always topped off. Or at least a charge level indicator. That being said, I have noticed one problem that may be affecting those who complain about endurance. A few times after plugging it in for charge, I have noticed the light go green after about 5 minutes. I know it voyldnt possibly be charged, and it was not. I have found this happens frequently. You must unplug it, and plug it back in. Check on it after a few minutes to make sure it is still red and thus charging. Then, and only then can you leave it to fully charge. … hopefully. Because of the charging issues, I can’t rate it higher than 3 stars.

I’ve owned this beard straightener for awhile now, and I love almost everything about it. It heats up fast and the battery seems to last for quite a while. My only complaint is that it just has a button that takes a quick single click to turn on, not a big deal if you use it at home, but it isn’t safe to travel with in a bag. It can turn on easily and it would become a big safety concern. Otherwise, it’s a great beard straightener at a great price.
