This wind guard works great. the griddle heats evenly all over now even on windy days. Also the wind no longer blows out the burners when they are on low settings. The rear grease cup fits in place fine. The warmer rack is a nice addition, it keeps the cooked food warm while you cook something else. The metal cover won't fit with the wind guard in place, but the wind guard can be removed easily and folded up. I put it under the griddle on the leg support that runs across between the legsand then the metal cover and canvas cover can be used as before ... show more

I gave it 4 stars because the paint on it was bad, not terrible, and the "clips" that the device uses to hang on to the blackstone griddle had to be pried out so that it would fit. Not a big deal, took a couple of minutes and a little pounding. The stainless steel rack was scratched up. At first I thought it was shipping grease that dried on it, so I put a degreaser on it and cleaned it. No, it was scuffed up. Not terribly bad, but if you sell a new product it shouldn't be scuffed. I won't say I'm disappointed, plenty of other reviews said that the clips needed adjusting so I was prepared for that. I didn't expect the bad paint or scuffed rack. ... show more

I have been interested in something like this for my Blackstone for awhile and am so glad I stumbled upon it during a search I ordered it immediately. It is sturdy and well-made and it is like having a totally new griddle to play with because the 17” is kinda limited being that it is only one burner compared to the 2 burner 22”. My only concern was that my cover would not fit over it however I was pleasantly surprised to see that it fit perfectly! Definitely worth the price and would recommend this to anyone who has a 17” Blackstone. ... show more

So that's all I really bought it for. It's like being in a wind tunnel at the beach, and these flat top griddles (blackstone, or whatever the 5 million other brands are) have HUGE air gaps in them. Yeah, we're bouget', yeah, I like the creature comforts of home when we "glamp", so this little bugger certainly helps me when it comes to taming the wind and keeping my flames burning bright. Except for the front... That still pisses me off, but whatever. It still works when I need it and a little aluminum foil never hurt too. ... show more

Expensive but works great with the 22" Blackstone. This should come with it when you buy one. Returned all the other racks I tried. Wind block/rack in one, can't beat it. One thing, wish the rack wasn't loose. Better if you could flip the rack up and down like some grills have.
