Yes, the PowerPlus 48V 15A is designed for 48V golf cart battery packs, including Club Car, E-Z-GO, and Yamaha models with compatible connectors. Its 15A output efficiently charges 48V battery systems used in most golf carts. Does this charger shut off automatically when the battery is full? Yes, the PowerPlus 48V 15A automatically shuts off or reduces output when the battery pack is fully charged. This prevents overcharging, helps protect battery life, and allows safe unattended charging and maintenance. Is it safe to leave this plugged in when not in use? Yes, the PowerPlus 48V 15A is safe to leave connected long-term. Its automatic float/shut-off mode maintains the battery after charging, making it ideal for daily-use carts or seasonal storage while helping extend battery life. Can this charge a 48V cart with 8-volt batteries in series? The PowerPlus 48V 15A charges complete 48V golf cart battery packs through the cart’s charging port, whether the pack uses 4x12V or 6x8V batteries. Compatibility depends on matching the cart’s charging connector, not the individual battery setup. How do I know when my golf cart battery is fully charged? The PowerPlus 48V 15A includes LED indicators that display charging status and full-charge condition. The lights let you quickly confirm when the battery pack is actively charging or fully charged and ready for use.
