Product description The Battery Tender 4 Bank Battery Charger is capable of charging four 12-volt batteries at 1.25 amps simultaneously. The unit’s constant current charging is controlled by a microprocessor to prevent overcharging damage caused by trickle chargers. You can use this battery charger with AGM, sealed maintenance free and flooded batteries. You can charge and maintain the batteries of motorcycles, ATVs, jet skis, lawn mowers, and dirt bikes. The unit is capable of maintaining battery charge at the ideal storage voltage for cars, SUVs, pickup trucks, and boats. A 72-hour safety timer shutoff protects your batteries from overcharging. For further safety, the battery charger is spark proof and is equipped with reverse polarity protection. Includes alligator clips and 2 ring terminals for connection. Very satisfied with the product overall. The unit isn’t as heavy as I thought so it was very easy to mount on the wall. I think the product description could have been more clear as far as pictures/description that the product comes with the SAE connectors. In the photos, it looks like it is only the alligator clamps so I did purchase additional extensions. The SAE connectors that come with the product are only 4.5ft long, so if you are charging multiple things you may need to buy the extensions anyway. ... show more

Like I said you get what you pay for this is sitting in the garage charging four vehicles at all times I like it because it is a good quality brand. It is safe endurable it doesn’t get hot. It’s very simple and you’re able to add extensions to it it accepts the extensions without a problem. All four of our vehicles are being charged, which includes a car a motorcycle and two ATVs I like to fit in the finish the quality the look it’s the most banged for the buck.     • Solved my battery problem!
I bought this for our camp. Since we don't live there I pull the boat and jet skis out of the water when we are not there. And since they would sit for long periods of time I was constantly replacing batteries. I have had to buy a battery since buying the battery tender. Very easy to use and install and was made out of quality materials. Slowly charges then batteries but most times will have them back to fill charge withi a night. Unlike typical battery chargers this thing weighs practically nothing and is easy to move around. Definitely worth the value! ... show more

    • Nice unit but charger cables are too short
Bought this to charge (4) motorcycles but the charger leads are too short to reach them all and I have them parked very close to each other. Had to buy extension cords to make it work for my application. The description does not provide any length on the charger cords which would be handy.

    • Works great, cleans up the shop look, adds convenience.
This four gang charge is more expensive than buying four separate chargers, so I balked at first. but it is better than having a tangle of outlets adapters, extension cords, etc. It did clean up the look of that area of my shop, and (with extension cables) made it more convenient to keep two dirt bikes and two street bikes charged and ready. As most every other reviewer says, you need the extension cables. They are standard SAE to SAE extension cables. I bought a 4-pack of 12 footers and that length works great for me. I do have a corner of my shop dedicated to motor toys, and park my bikes close to each other, so this works, with plenty of wiggle room. For my setup, I wouldn't need anything longer than that. Right now, the unit sits on the seat of one of the dirt bikes. Might make a shelf for it one day above or below the outlet. ... show more
