These are really three different kinds of lights: wired 110v wall lights (without the wires), dim battery operated wall lights, and small dim led light pucks for use in closets or cabinets. My fixtures arrived ridiculously disassembled and without essential parts. There are three separate sets of greatly differing instructions. One of the sets is in nearly microscopic print (for use of the light pucks alone in closets). Failure to package the parts needed to fasten the light pucks magnetically inside the fixtures, combined with the three different assembly methods, made it very difficult for me to infer how the fixtures should be assembled. Full assembly of either fixture was actually impossible. The seller and manufacturer, Bimean, says "Satisfaction guarantee: If you encounter any problems during use, you can always contact us. We will reply to you within 12 hours and solve any problems perfectly." Neither the package box nor any of the three sets of instructions contained a phone number, a web address, or a physical address. Hoping to contact the seller about the missing parts, perhaps at the seller's website, I searched the web for "Bimean." The only search result was this Amazon page. I clicked on an Amazon link to the seller, where I found no phone number, no email address, and no physical address beyond one in Chinese characters somewhere in China. My only option was to begin a return to Amazon of the whole shebang, take everything apart again, package it, label it, etc. Amazon will send me a different set, hopefully with the missing parts. ------------ The seller's marketing approach is apparently to offer a variety of products using the same building blocks. It is obvious that the fixtures were originally designed to be wired to ordinary house current. There is a socket for an ordinary household light bulb, complete with electrical contacts for the bulb. There are, however, no wires, and there is no apparent way to disassemble the bulb socket assembly to reveal whether it is possible to attach wires to the socket. If it were possible, then the fixtures could have ordinary light bulbs in them. The wiring would have to be attached to an electrical box on a wall. The wiring in the wall would have to run to a light switch, as there is no switch on the socket or built into the fixture. The actual light fixtures are quite nice. They are attractive and appear to be well made. There are two battery operated light levels: dim and dimmer. If used as wired wall lights the bulbs would probably be visible and glary. To transform the wired fixtures into these battery powered mood lights, the seller/ manufacturer designed a metal plate that has, in the center of the underside, a dummy part shaped like the base of a household light bulb, which screws like a light bulb into the bulb socket of the fixture. These are the parts that were missing. Finally, the manufacturer provides two dim led light pucks, which seem to have been originally designed for use in closets or cabinets, without the light fixtures. These attach magnetically to the metal plate that is screwed into the bulb socket inside the light fixtures. For using these light pucks in a closet, a thin metal disk with a sticky side is included with each puck. Stick the metal disk somewhere on the inside of the closet and the led puck can then be magnetically attached to it. I have little use for weak battery operated mood lights that need to be recharged. These would be much more useful as wired lights that could be bright or dim, as one pleased in a given moment. But, given how they're sold here, as one-watt low output lights, that's probably what you want. If all you want is a couple of small plastic battery operated led closet puck lights, you'd be nuts to pay $80 for them. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought these pair of sconces for a reasonably price. I bought them for my bedroom because I could use a little more lighting especially when I'm putting on my makeup. With these two sconces it does the little push to brighten where I need it.. Its not really bright even on its highest settings... but it does enough for me.. The assembly has 2 options you can stick it with the adhesions that comes included or you can drill it to have it mounted that way.. I used the adhesive way.. and it feels securely mounted.. It was easy to assemble.. Overall Im happy with this product. ... show more

One of my best, smartest Amazon purchases to date! These lights are great quality for the price. My husband and I had these both on the wall in under 30 minutes and my 13yr old son assembled them prior to installation. Everything came carefully wrapped and packaged. The lights were fully charged in about 2 hours. It will be so nice not having to worry about batteries! The magnetic plates really hold the lights in the fixture very well. The lights aren’t super bright but put out a fair amount of light. The lower setting really provides a nice ambience to the room! My husband and I got these to replace the lamps on our nightstands and were so excited. They look pretty and were fairly easy to install but the light is EXTREMELY dim even on its brightest setting. I use it for about an hour a day and it needs to recharge every 3 days or so with no warning. It just suddenly won't turn on. Charging then takes quite a while. Very disappointed. ... show more

My wife had originally wanted these for our outside porch, but after she ordered it I quickly noticed it wasnt rated for being water proof, so we ended up using them elsewhere in the house. We mostly use them as decoration, and its fairly easy to just install them on the walls, and use the remote to turn them off and on. The brightness isnt as bright as I usually like, but it works well enough for a reading light or an accent light. We dont recharge it often, but having a USB Rechargeable battery has made it easy to not worry about buying batteries or wiring it up. ... show more

These lights are actually very well made. Almost everything except for the rechargeable light that holds on by a magnet is made of metal. The lights all look really nice, not as good as "designer lights" but still look like they are quality. The metal all has a nice authentic color and the black coating is even and dark. They were really easy to install by either the glue strip, or by anchoring it to your wall with screws. I really enjoy the remote, it's responsive at a distance and easy to use. ... show more

These are really nice looking and quality wireless lights. We placed them in our home so, we can have some ambient lighting to illuminate a hallway without having to turn on the brighter overhead lights. Love the fact that we didn't need electrical hookups. The puck lights are held by magnets and can easily be removed to be recharged. The light has various warm and cool light options. The remote buttons work great, but you have to be near light for it to work. They will not work if farther than 3 ft away and just wish it would work from a further distance. Light can be mounted by either drilling holes that hold bracket or a provided backing sticker can be used if you don't want to do any drilling. I'm not sure how strong the stickers are and would recommend just drilling holes to ensure the lights won't fall. Overall, very happy with these lights and they'll add a nice touch to any dwelling. ... show more
