I ordered this some time ago and now that spring is here, I had an opportunity to test this out. I was a bit skeptical of its power due to its very compact size. My skepticism all but vanished within the first two minutes of use. An overnight charge of one of the two batteries included and off to some trimming. I started with some 1 inch branches. No problem. Then I tried some two-plus inch branches and they cut like butter. Finally, I attempted a dead, very hard, four inch branch on a maple tree. In about 20 seconds I was completely through. This little saw is light enough for lightweight users, fits firmly in the hand and cuts extremely well. I can't speak to how long a battery charge will last, but with an extra as a back-up, it should give you plenty of time for moderate cutting. It has a very nice safety feature for preventing accidental trigger pulling which is a simple, easily accessed push button that must be pressed before activating the saw. It also comes with a protective chain cover. It has a nice hand operated access nob to change out chain that eliminates awkward screwdriver hassle. 5 star for sure.

I really like this tool. I'm a carpenter, and woodworker and I own a couple gas powered chainsaws. I know tools and I am seriously impressed with this item. I just cut up a bunch of dead fall branches in my yard with it. It's very lightweight, and portable, and it seriously works exactly like you would want it to. My wife, who has almost zero experience with any kind of power tool, is excited to use it herself. Pruning the bushes and trees will be easy. As wonderfully as it works, I have to say, it seems to be lacking in a lot of ways compared to other products that are available, which are very similar. When you compare it to others out there, virtually all of them have some type of plastic case, along with a bunch of accessories, like extra cutting chains, work gloves, and even safety glasses. Most of them are longer, like 6", compared to this one at 4". All of those extras are available, with some of them, at almost $30 less than this item, which is available on Amazon for $89.99 at the time of this review. The lithium ion batteries that come with this unit are the best type of batteries, so that's good, and something to be aware of when selecting your mini chainsaw. You'll definitely get more performance with a lighter package. All things considered, I would probably have to recommend shopping around. I really wish this thing came with, at least, a carrying case of some kind. 5 stars for the tool itself. 3 stars for the value for money. Average, is 4. 4 STARS

These are very quick charge and easy to handle. I use this mini chainsaw to hedge my bushes and have even cut plywood with it. I was hesitant initially because one mistake can easily turn out bad. Fortunately, this chainsaw isn’t too powerful nor hard to handle. This can really get the job done. Perfect gift.

My husband used this to cut small ¾” branches. It cut them just fine. The manual is a bit vague on oil lubrication of the chain. Since it is winter here now, this little chainsaw won’t get a full workout until the Spring (April or May). I will update the review after further use. Edit 5/26/2023: My husband loves this little chainsaw. It is lightweight, easy to handle, and cuts through branches very easily. He has been cutting down branches from trees with a long pole saw, then uses this chainsaw to cut them into manageable 3 foot pieces. He cut a 3" root and it went right through it. I'm much more of a lightweight, and I was able to use it easily. You just need to push down on it to get it to cut through branches. It is a definite winner!!

I love this small chain saw. I cut down some way overgrown grape vines. Some of the bases wer 7-7". Of course I had to cut from both sides. This saw did a great job. Easy to control and use. It cuts fast and made a huge project a rather short bit of work. The vines were 12' tall and 25' wide. All the cuts were 8 -12 inches long as this wood makes great smoke for the smoker. I had to change the battery once but didn't need a full second battery. I am concerned about bar lubrication and sharpening the blades. I recommend.

The SOYUS Battery Powered Mini Chainsaw is that perfect tool for those in between sized jobs. The ones that are too big for your manual handsaw pruner but too small to drag out your full sized gas chainsaw. It made life easier for me while working around the yard. I charged the 2 included 20 volt batteries on the charger, it took about 30 minutes a piece to fully charge each of them. Then the Mini Chainsaw ran for over an hour on each of the batteries. I am happy with how long they can run this chainsaw, having a second fully charged battery really helps out. The chainsaw is light, under 3 pounds and it is ergonomically designed. It also has a good protection shield for your hands and inside the shielded area there is a power indicator light that lets you know the battery usage. If the chain loosens on the saw it just takes a simple turn of a dial to adjust it back where it needs to be. I recommend the SOYUS Cordless Handheld Battery Powered Mini Chainsaw it is the perfect solution to issues around my property. The power, durability and one year warranty makes this a big win for me.

This little chainsaw is great for small trimming jobs around the house. I have even used it for trimming small branches around my tree stand at my lease. The saw is surprisingly powerful and easily cuts through 3" branches with no issues. The battery life is also very good. I worked all around my property trimming up small branches and the battery held up for hours before having to swap them out. I have to say I'm pretty impressed with this little saw.
