Love this chair. The fabric and color were as expected. Although sometimes awkward at times the chair is easy to put together. The seat is comfortable but could probably have used a bit more padding. I don’t think this seat would be good for a heavier person. Overall I love the chair.

I just got this so I'll try to update review as time goes by. This chair is as beautiful as the pictures in the ad. I bought because of great reviews and I'd say they are all true. True - it is tricky to assemble (you have to really squeeze the front and back into place because the padding is nice and thick). The seat is not a slab of wood or plastic with a foam cushion on top - it's built right with springs. Here is how I assembled in case anyone needs any tips: *One person can assemble but having two is better so one person can push and hold back or seat in place while other inserts and tightens bolts. You really have to press them together quite hard to get the bolt to connect with the back piece • Place the Seat upside down on a sofa edge or chair about that height • Place Back upside down at slight angle and bring pieces together (don't be discouraged as they look like they might not fit) • With one foot or leg, LIGHTLY press down on seat cushion while pressing Back close enough to get Screw started in the MIDDLE HOLE (at the center of the Back) * Make sure you have locking washer on bolt first, then flat washer so it has that hard surface to Lock against when fully tightened • Tighten that screw til it's snug but not all the way tightened • Insert and snug up the other two bolts (screws) on either side of that • Go back and fully tighten all bolts til can't turn anymore * Do NOT overtighten as you could strip the bolts • The instructions for installing the hardware are illustrated nicely in the instructions ... show more

    • It's pretty and works in a small space
I bought this because it is fabric, blue, and swivels. I liked the style, wood supports, and that it looks more "residential." I will use it in a tiny home/RV at a small table and like that it can roll around to where I need to use it. I had to put an extra cushion on it because the wood seat support pushes up against the back of my legs. With a little extra cushion, it is OK. The seat could use more support. Update: May 5, 2024 - I was using this in the house at a too-high table. I am now in the RV/Tiny home using it at a laptop table next to the kitchen table and I like how the chair works much better. I am not using the extra cushion or the back support now. I discovered that the curve on the sides of the chair back helps the range of swivel, and because of that, I am impressed with the design. There have been no malfunctions of the hydraulics, the chair slides on the carpet and plank floor, and it fits perfectly in this small space. I upped the rating from an original 4 stars to 5.
