Worked great for my customer. It was tough to cut this tub with the rounded front but taking a big chunk and then nibbling away bits to make it close was what was needed. Nothing bad to say about the product tho. The customer loves it. She can bathe again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Price,was not a wise choice. The widest part, which will be on the bottom of cut, is only7" wide. The top rail on my tub was 6.5" wide,was pretty sure the insert would be too small, measurements of item would have saved me time and money. Their return policy is designed to keep your money as long as possible, I don't recommend ... show more

Not necessarily for amateur do it yourself. Item does need to be trimmed to fit over tub that has been cut. Much less expensive than the brand name. It's perfect
