The arms of the chair do not bump in to the desk like all our our other home office chairs do, meaning that they don't tear up the desk or the chair arms themselves. This chair is made of heavy grade vinyl and looks like a fine grade of leather. ( Finally figured out that the "genuine PU leather" found on most online office chairs is actually just a micro thin layer of leather bonded to a micro thin layer of polyurethane. This package arrived in a large box there was no real packing material things were just tossed in the box. While looking the the boxes content there were absolutely no assembly instructions and no seat pad. We have contacted the seller and the product was returned. I have no idea if anything else in the box was missing as stated no instructions. I rate this chair as follows. Easy to assemble 1 star (cant assemble missing pieces) Comfort 1 star (no seat cant be comfortable at all) Value for money 1 star (over priced for a chair you cant sit in) My brave wife ordered another from the same company. I think I am going to get the same exact chair back my wife believes they will make it correct. I will be back either way to review the replacement Update: 1 Aug 2020 The new chair contained everything and has been assembled The chair was very easy to put together and is pretty comfortable. So having the second delivery arrive so quickly I have changed from a 1 star to 4 star. Will be back after a bit of time has passed to review how the chair holds up over time. Feb 27th 2021 well it has not even been six months and the armrest have completely broken down and cracking my husband was having to wrap towels around the armrest so that a screw didn't stab him in the arm that is poking threw the material , on another note the bottom of this chair where the wheels pop in is very sharp and will cut you ankles so overall I am giving this chair a 1 star couldn't even hold up six months! ... show more

I gave this chair a try for ~3 weeks before returning it because it was too uncomfortable. It has poor lumbar support and no head rest, making it quite uncomfortable for sitting for long periods.
