First, a quick review of the product. It's well made (with very solid materials), looks great, and came at a terrific price for the quality. It looks like a legit glass backboard...even though it's not actually glass. It's a nice size, and I love that I can easily raise and lower it. Now, the instructions show 2 methods for filling the base. One with sand (which they note is strongly recommended) and one with water. Ya boy didn't have 300lbs of sand laying around, so I rolled the dice and went with water. BAD MOVE. It blew over in a strong wind and bent up the rim. I reached out to the company to see if I could buy a replacement rim, and they got back to me right away sent me a new one FOR FREE!! (Which I know is like a $50 value because I was looking at buying one elsewhere.) That's what I call customer service!!! I would definitely buy another product from them in the future!!

This is my first portable hoop and can say is better than I thought. One of the features I love the most is the height mechanism. You can adjust the height by just simply twisting the handle, no need for poles or ladders. The base has two ports, top and backside, very easy to fill and drain with water, also sand. The backboard is plastic but very sturdy. Very happy with this purchase and the company that makes them. The installation was easy and smooth with the instructions provided, they also have a video on youtube to assemble. Two people recommended for assembly, is heavy.

Please read,this hoop is really really good,however sometimes things happen, I miss only one screw I contact them and they send me the entire set of screws and take me very long time to build it because the weather in Ohio,so this bases from the hoop are made by machines and for my bad luck came with a small crack,was no time to return it anymore,and with not many hopes I contact them again to see if a least I can buy the base and they just told me that they was sending me a new set,I'm so happy that I'm chose this company to buy my hoop,because sometimes thing happens in factory, the quality is really good and strong and the custumer service i have no words to describe how great they're, I'm promise that if you need a good basketball hoop don't look any further, this is the one you need that come with the right ppls to back up your money if something happens, 1 million 🌟 for them 😊

This hoop is very sturdy and the parts seem extremely high quality for the price. And to top it all off, I had a bit of difficulty during assembly, and was very pleased to see that IGL had contacted me directly immediately following my purchase (check your emails from Amazon) to offer their assistance should such a situation occur. The customer service rep was friendly, prompt, and helped me to resolve all of my problems (despite them being user error and not a flaw of the product in any way). I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and with IGL. I highly recommend this hoop and doing business with this seller. I'm looking forward to updating the review after a few months of use to report back on how its held up, though based on my experience with the parts during assembly, I don't anticipate any issues.

This IGL portable basketball hoop is an excellent product. My 2 daughters, ages 8, and 13 love this portable basketball hoop. When a hardware part needed for assembly seemed to be missing, I contacted IGL customer service. They were very courteous, and efficient. They shipped the replacement part to me right away, and even included some free extra, special for my 2 daughters!

We love these hoops! We purchased 2 for Christmas so we could play basketball games and we were so happy with our purchase! They were delivered quickly and the instructions were perfect. We often can’t figure out the instructions we get with some products but these were clear english with pictures as well. The hoops are easy to adjust the height. If you want good basketball hoops I am comfortable suggesting these.

So, I purchased this for my son. This is the second hoop I’ve purchased. I was pleased with the size of the backboard. I was really pleased with the quality of the poles and hardware. There were a couple of issues with a missing bolt and one pole had some of the paint missing. I was worried about rust because of the paint issue. I called customer service and they shipped the missing bolt and a replacement pole immediately. I would recommend this product. The hoop has been great for my son. It is really easy to raise and lower.
