I just got a black paper journal and needed something white to write with. This set of markers was a good find and worked well for the intended purpose. I like that the pen tubes are clear plastic so I can see exactly how much paint I have left. It also shows if I should shake it a bit more before using as the liquids seperate after a while and is why it has a ball inside for shaking. It took a bit of priming before it would write and I realized I should have done it on a scratch piece of paper first since once it comes, it's suddenly there and leaves a mark. That was user error on my part! The tips are a medium size so I knew they would be thicker than I would want for daily writing. These will work more for thicker lines of text. There is a slight odor when first using these until the paint dries but it is not as strong as permanent markers, which is good. I anticipate we will find other uses for these pens around the house. I had a ding in my wall that has white paint on it so I used the pen to cover up some of the damage and it worked well. Overall, these markers were exactly what I expected and I'm happy to have them in my stash of pens and markers. At their price, for two of them, I'm satisfied with them and would recommend them.

I seem to always try to plug 2 prong plugs (the ones that have a longer and shorter prong) in the wrong way. For some reason, this makes me swear at the plug! I know it doesn’t help anything, but it feels good. These ARTISTRO markers helps to put the plug in right and makes me wife happy that I swear less. I use a marker to put a short dash on the side of the receptacle hole that needs the longer prong. I also use a marker to put a matching mark on the back of plugs. I then know to match the marks when putting in the plug, or when I can see the mark, either facing up or facing me. I use the black marker on white receptacles and plugs, and the white obviously on the black ones. I also use these markers to put a letter or two on USB cords to tell which product they go to. I found these markers great for labeling glass spice jars. Be sure to wear gloves when using these. If you have any problems with these, like everything else, be sure to read and follow the included instructions.

Love having these ARTISTRO oil based paint markers on hand because they can be used on just about any surface. I tested them on cardboard signs for an upcoming garage sale. Because they are waterproof I don't have to worry about them running or fading if it rains that day. I will however be saving them to touch up my black dining room chairs where paint had chipped. These markers have a satin finish that blends perfectly. I would put up a picture of where I touched up but you would not be able to see it because they are that good for this purpose! If you are into rock painting, they would be durable and weatherproof. The markers have a firm felt medium tip. You need to depress the tip several times to release the paint and prime the tip. This probably should be done before using periodically. These markers do not smell as strong as a sharpie does, which is nicer. Drying time is fast, about 10-15 minutes . The tubes are generous and transparent. If you hold them up to the light you'll see how much is remaining, very helpful. The next time I use them I will be wearing disposable gloves because these have staying power on the skin as well! Super happy to have found this fix for my chairs and whatever else comes up. Highly recommend these permanent oil paint markers.

I ordered these markers as I thought my husband would find them useful around our farm. They work well and give great coverage. In addition, the paint goes where you want it to go and doesn’t run like our previous oil paint pen. We used the marker to cover a scratch on our 1965 Chevy truck bed. You can see by looking at my before and after photo that it did a great job and the scratch has virtually disappeared. We also used it on some reflective tape that my husband wanted to cover on his rubber boots. He had tried permanent marker, but it wouldn’t adhere properly to the plastic reflective coating. This oil based paint did. It was very easy to use and we quickly got great coverage on both the truck and boots. We also plan to use these markers to label some 5 gallon plastic buckets. I know that we will find many more uses for these markers. They are good to keep in our repair kit and will come in very handy when needed.
