Yohood basketball hoop is relatively easy to assemble. The instructions from the manual is easy to follow. There are instructional videos on the website that are good references. The tools included in the package are easy to use and adequate. It took about 1.5 hours to carefully review all parts and assembling steps to fully assemble the hoop. All parts look durable. The height adjustable feature is easy to use. The hoop is leveled without the need to adjust after assembly. The two front wheels make it easier to move the hoops event after it is assembled. we filled the base with regular water and it is stable. We loved that there are one extra set of nuts and bolts for all the connecting pieces and two nets that we can save one for later as a replacement. Overall a good experience putting the hoop together following the instruction manual. The kids have a great time playing basketball afterwards. We were able to lower it to the level suitable for our 6-year-old. We think we will have a great rest of the summer playing basketball at our backyard. Thank you Yohood for the wonderful product.

Size: 44 Inch Backboard
We’ve been using this Yohood portable basketball hoop for a few weeks now and it has exceeded our expectations. The 44/48 inch backboard is the perfect size for driveway and backyard play, and it really feels sturdy compared to other portable systems we’ve tried before. Assembly took some time, but the instructions were clear and all parts were well packaged. Once set up, the 10ft height adjustment works smoothly, which is great because we can lower it for the kids and raise it back up for adults. The adjustable feature makes it perfect for the whole family. The base is very stable once filled with water (or sand), and the wheels make it easy to move around when needed. The rim feels solid, and the net is durable and well attached. We’ve had multiple games already and it holds up really well, even with more aggressive shots. Overall, this is a great value for the price. If you’re looking for a sturdy, adjustable, and portable basketball hoop for home use, this one is definitely worth it! 🏀

Size: 44 Inch Backboard
I bought the Yohood Portable Basketball Hoop for our backyard, and it has been a fantastic addition for both kids and adults. It strikes a great balance between durability, ease of use, and portability—everything you want in a home basketball setup. Setup was simpler than expected. The instructions were clear and all parts were well organized. It took a couple hours with two people, and nothing felt overly complicated. The 10ft quick-adjust system works smoothly and lets us change the height in seconds. It’s perfect when switching between younger kids and taller teens—or even adults who want a full regulation height. The 44-inch polycarbonate backboard delivers solid rebound performance for a portable hoop. It’s sturdy, quiet, and handles regular shooting practice without any wobble. Once the base is filled with water or sand, the hoop feels very stable, even during windy weather. At the same time, the built-in wheels make it incredibly easy to tilt and roll when we want to reposition or store it for the winter. The materials feel weather-resistant, and after rain and sun exposure, everything still looks new. The powder-coated pole and quality backboard should hold up great long-term. The Yohood Basketball Goal System is a reliable, easy-to-adjust, and well-built hoop that’s ideal for backyards, driveways, and casual outdoor courts. Highly recommended for families, beginners, and recreational players.

Size: 44 Inch Backboard
Not hard to build, there is a youtube video of a mom building it all by herself. Backboard seems good. Rim broke in 3 months. Replaced if for 40, no biggie. Then the 2 support rods broke. Sucks that we spent 200 on something that lasted a total of 4 months. Customer service was great though, and helped us out tremendously by sending us a completely new goal and a partial refund for the inconvenience. If your interested in a hoop for occasional games or just to shoot around, this is a good buy. If your child is like mine and plays everyday, and invites all his friends over, then you should go ahead and get those 500 acrylic backboard goals .

This Yohood basketball hoop has been a fantastic addition to our driveway! The 44-inch polycarbonate backboard provides great rebound and feels durable. The height adjustment from 5.25ft to 10ft is super easy—just turn the handle on the back and you're good to go. My kids can practice at a lower height, and I can raise it up for adult games in seconds. Assembly was straightforward with clear instructions, and I had it set up in about an hour. The base holds 150lbs of water or sand, making it rock-solid stable during play. The built-in wheels are a lifesaver—I can easily roll it around the driveway, backyard, or even into the garage for storage. For the price, the build quality is excellent. It's sturdy, weather-resistant, and gets daily use from both kids and adults without any issues. If you're looking for a versatile, portable hoop that the whole family can enjoy, this is it. Highly recommend! Five stars all the way!

Size: 44 Inch Backboard
I bought this portable basketball hoop as a Christmas gift for my 10-year-old nephew, and it has easily become one of his favorite presents. He genuinely loves basketball, not just casual shooting, so I wanted something that felt real and could grow with him, and this hoop delivered. Assembly was required, but overall it was manageable. The instructions were clear, and all the parts fit together as expected. Once assembled, the hoop looked sturdy and well-proportioned, not flimsy or toy-like. At 60 pounds, it has a reassuring weight to it, and after filling the base, it stayed stable during regular play. The adjustable height feature is one of the biggest strengths. We set it slightly lower at first, and my nephew was able to practice shooting with confidence right away. As he improves, the hoop can be raised gradually all the way up to 10 feet, which is ideal for long-term use. The adjustment mechanism is smooth and easy to operate, so adults can fine-tune it without hassle. The polycarbonate backboard holds up very well to frequent use. My nephew practices almost daily, jump shots, layups, and even some enthusiastic rebounds, and the hoop handles it without issues. The rim feels solid, and the overall frame doesn’t wobble excessively for a portable, freestanding system. It’s placed on a driveway, and the wheels make it easy to reposition when needed. What I appreciate most is that this hoop doesn’t feel like a “temporary” kids’ toy. It supports real skill development while still being accessible for a child his age. Seeing him excited to go outside and practice on his own says everything. If you’re buying for a child around 8–12 years old who truly enjoys basketball, this hoop is a strong choice. It’s adjustable, durable, easy to move, and most importantly, it actually motivates kids to play more. I would confidently recommend this basketball hoop to families looking for a practical and meaningful gift that gets real use.

This basketball hoop turned out to be an excellent purchase for our family. The assembly took some time, but the instructions were clear and all the parts fit together well. Once set up, the hoop feels very stable, especially after filling the base with water. I was worried it might tip over at first, but even when the kids play aggressively, it stays steady without wobbling. The weighted base design is well thought out and makes me feel confident about its safety. I really like the height adjustment feature—it only takes a moment to change, so my younger kids can lower it for shooting practice, and then I can raise it back up for a more challenging game with friends. The backboard size is just right for home use—large enough to practice real shots but not too big for the driveway. The wheels make it easy to roll into the garage when not in use. The quality is much better than I expected for the price, and it has quickly become the favorite activity for our weekends. If you’re looking for a reliable and portable hoop system that works for both kids and adults, this is a great choice.
