We bought this basketball hoop for our 11-year-old, and he loves it! The box arrived in good condition, although the delivery driver left it on the side of our house overnight. Thankfully, it was still there the next day. Setup was pretty easy—my husband put it together without even needing the instructions, but they are included and easy to follow if you need them. We also really like that the height is adjustable, so you can change it as your child grows. We’ve already had a bad storm since setting it up, and it held up really well without tipping over. We filled the base with water for extra stability, and that seems to work great. Overall, very happy with this purchase! Hoop is very nice hoop. Sturdy, and we love the handle for easily changing height. I wish it would go all the way down to 5ft though, without taking off a pole. It only does 8-10’ on the high pole. If you want 5-7’ you need to remove the pole. Also, the rim has a rattle sound inside. I assumed it was due to a defect upon soldering the rim together during manufacturing, so I called for a replacement . The replacement came with the same rattle! It’s super annoying every time the ball hits the rim. My son hates it lol… and I’d have to agree. Overall, it’s a nice looking and durable hoop, great for my 8-11 year olds. As far as assembly, it wasn’t hard to assemble, but it’s HEAVY. Highly recommend 2 adults to put it together. ... show more

Way more stable than the other hoop we’ve had. We get some nasty windstorms and it surprisingly does a great job staying up and not getting damaged. (With the use of a sand at the bottom still)

This was easy to assemble and my favorite part about this particular one is, it is very durable. My backyard has high wind, it has withstood heavy weather and is still in perfect condition. Defect in support bard too thin from bolt to hold wait of hoop. Cracked perfectily at both middle bolts and fell destroying base integrity leaking and not repairable one year warranty but no customer service info from manufacturer teying to recoup resolution through amazon.
