We bought this basketball hoop for our 11-year-old, and he loves it! The box arrived in good condition, although the delivery driver left it on the side of our house overnight. Thankfully, it was still there the next day. Setup was pretty easy—my husband put it together without even needing the instructions, but they are included and easy to follow if you need them. We also really like that the height is adjustable, so you can change it as your child grows. We’ve already had a bad storm since setting it up, and it held up really well without tipping over. We filled the base with water for extra stability, and that seems to work great. Overall, very happy with this purchase! Way more stable than the other hoop we’ve had. We get some nasty windstorms and it surprisingly does a great job staying up and not getting damaged. (With the use of a sand at the bottom still)

The box arrived broken in several places. I was very concerned that we would be missing pieces or that it would be damaged. It does come in one huge, heavy box. It was left by the postal service on our driveway and my 80 year old husband and I had quite a time getting it into the garage with the help of a neighbor. However after our son and a friend assembled it we are so very pleased that all the parts were there and it is a wonderful goal. Kids and grandkids had a blast over the holidays shooting hoops. It is very easy to adjust the height. Our only complaint was that we filled the base with water and then I read the instructions that advised you to use sand. It will be in the 20's tonight. We left space for the ice to expand if it freezes so hopefully it will not crack the base. ... show more

Defect in support bard too thin from bolt to hold wait of hoop. Cracked perfectily at both middle bolts and fell destroying base integrity leaking and not repairable one year warranty but no customer service info from manufacturer teying to recoup resolution through amazon.
