For my greenhouse lights, I have several Vivosun fixtures with nice metal housings running four T5 high output fluorescent lamps. My plants have a great response rate with those lights. The downside is that they are expensive. I decided to try these lights for three reasons: 1) LED instead of fluorescent. 2) They are lightweight. 3) Recommended by other growers. I don't have a lightmeter, but it looks like the light output from these is about the same as the Vivosun. However, the light is concentrated to a narrower spot as the fixture is only about 6 inches wide. If you are trying to cover a row of 1020 trays, a pair of these will be needed, making them less effective that the wider fluorescent fixture. That also means that they are not as cost effective either. I will have to see how these do through the growing season. I think they will be a welcome addition to my greenhouse, but probably not direct replacements for the Vivosuns. These are very easy to set up. They do not use a grounded outlet. They came with a bunch of zip ties, chains, and some other hardware. I used the chains to hang them from hooks I already had installed. The two lights were easy to wire together with the cables that were included. The inline switch is handy, but for my set up, not necessary. The quality seems decent. They are lightwieght and the design is "skeletonized". I don't know how that will translate into resisting moisture or the occasional spray with water. The Vivosun tolerates that well as the housing is metal and fully shrouds the lights. These look more open, especially at the ends. So far, I am happy with these lights. I certainly will get a lot of use out of them. I know that other growers are having success with them and I expect no different. I probably will get more in the future, but not until I assess them for a full season.

Light had a nice long power cord with an inline switch which is handy. Thought it would be a little bit brighter but nothing got leggy under it so it must have provided sufficient light. Really like the white light color a lot more than the purple lights that I was using. Spectrum chart indicates it has the same levels of red and blue that the purple lights had with the addition of green that made the light white. Hangs nice and level from its chain. Also like the width of the fixture with 4 rows of LEDs. It has fairly even light distribution across my cell trays.

I'm trying this grow light this year. Some of my older ones are not working well. Fluorescent lights have a limited a life, at least to get the needed light spectrum. LED lights will theoretically last forever but that assumes they are manufactured perfectly and no bugs get into them. YES bugs find their way into many 4 foot units like ones by Antlux. With both those things some last only 3-4 years, at least in my case. This one looks well sealed, is easy to set up and is brighter than some of my others. I'm using it to start seed in larger trays with 162 cells. The seedlings will soon need lots of light to avoid being spindly and this light looks like it will do the job. SO, bottom line, so far, so good.

These work great. I ordered two for my veggie seedlings that I started in my dark basement. These are the only lights I have on my seedlings. They are growing and thriving. We did have to buy longer chains though. Wasn’t long enough to reach properly from the ceiling to the trays. But original chains are probably a foot or so. I didn’t measure.

The lights are definitely bright and don’t get too hot. The plants really like them. However there is definitely a quality control issue. I bought two of the two packs. One set was fine but on the other set one of the strips wasn’t working. The return was no problem and the new set arrives tomorrow but this morning one strip on the lights that were installed is not working.

Perfect lights for my greenhouse. Due to the greenhouse being in a covered area so it’s not destroyed in the wind, I needed supplemental light. I’ve always liked the brand so gave these a try and they do not disappoint. They’re a great size for the area I needed them and the cords are plenty long for the layout. The color output is perfect and my plants are growing like crazy under them. The last one might have a connection issue but seems to work fine unless you bump it.
