I've historically lost a large number of tropical plants over the winter when keeping them away from the cold. I used this light last year for the first time, and all my hibiscus did SO MUCH BETTER. They bloomed prolifically and were actually thriving in the winter instead of just trying to survive.

It's a awesome light! It's super bright has a more yellow light coming off compared to other that are more white light. My plants love it. As far as people saying the Evo 8 runs hor have clearly never owned a grow light proir its run not hotter than any other light I've seen or owned!. In fact it probably runs cooler being you can put the driver outside your grow tent so you don't have that extra heat. I highly recommend this light!! It's definitely worth it ... show more
