    • Gorgeous stool!
Not all bar stools/counter height chairs are created equal. I have learned that in the last several years as I have gone through many different pieces from many different brands (ranging in price from affordable to eye watering). In our house, these get a lot of use between the breakfast bar and the wet bar in the game room, so I look for good quality that will last. Finally- I think I finally found the perfect stools with these. They are absolutely gorgeous. These have a very classic and classy (rich) look and are very studry and durable. The best part is that the price doesn't break the bank- or even come close! ☆The stool (I will keep saying 'stools' because I ended up purchasing 3 more. How can I not? After coupons and promos, they are less than $75 each! That's beyond a score- thats a lotto win!) come well packaged in the standard flat pack format. Every component is wrapped well to limit damage during transit. It takes a minute to get everything unwrapped, but it's worth it when you don't see any damage to the pieces. The metal legs have a solid powder coated finish that is quite difficult to scratch or penitrate. ☆Assembly is straightforward and quite easy. I didn't really need the directions, but looked at them anyway. They are easy to follow. I'm able to assemble a stool in about 15 minutes- on my own and without any issues. I had 4 stools assembled in less than 1 hour. A hex key is included, but I prefer to use my electric screwdriver (to save my hands). A big indicator of quality for me is when all the holes line up perfect, as they did here. ☆Quality is excellent. The metal legs are nice and thick, studry and finished well. They don't make the creaking sound like many others we have had. The seat is well cushioned and nicely detailed. The PU leather is soft, durable and doesn't feel like plastic. It doesn't have the softness of real leather either, but it feels pretty close. It isn't stiff and has some nice give. They are easy to clean (just wipe with a warm, damp rag) and are very, VERY comfy. We have had these now for a few months and the seat still looks and feels brand new- no flaking or cracking of material. These are VERY studry, can hold some major weight and don't wobble on the floor at all. *I want to add a quick note to attest to the quality- My daughter, a teenager, doesn't really take care of anything. As much as she's asked/told not to, she loves tipping back in our stools. This is how we have lost many of the previous stools to damage (some within the first month). She is tipping back in these now too, but they aren't showing any signs of distress at all. The metal legs are strong and thick enough to support the weight and unnatural position. The feet 'pivot' or tilt a bit too, which keeps her from tipping over. I do not condone this at all and unfortunately I can't stop it either. But I wanted to mention it because while so many other stools have failed because of this, these remain strong! ♡I'm so impressed with these stools. The quality is excellent, they are incredibly comfortable and they look amazing. The best part is the price! I HIGHLY recommend grabbing multiples while there is a promo/coupon available. The company knows that they have put out a great product and stands behind it with a 1 year warranty. You literally have nothing to loose! Buy them now! ... show more

I have been shopping around for an additional counter-height chair to accompany the two counter-height chairs I already have in my kitchen. This bar stool fits the bill! The frame is sturdy and the cushion is comfortable. It fits in quite nicely between the other two chairs. The assembly process was pretty straight forward and all of the necessary parts were included. I did run into a bit of an issue with the leg assembly. Attaching the first side to the foot rest bars was rather easy. The hard part was lining up the other side of the leg assembly onto the foot rest bars. Took me a bit to get them lined up correctly to complete the fastening portion. Honestly, it was a bit frustrating, but I got the legs attached.     • Very solid frame, wonderful cushion.
The bar stool came wonderfully packaged and the legs/frame were wrapped with a protective cloth to prevent the paint from scratches. I was really impressed with how it arrived and you'll need a knife or scissors to get off all the tape so you can unwrap the cloth covering the two sides of the frame. All the hardware came in a single red bag tied with a red string to the frame, it was cute and ensured you don't have random things flying everywhere during delivery. From unboxing to full assembly it was 45 minutes while I watched tv, 15-ish just getting everything unwrapped and set up, the remaining 30 were largely just screwing in all the screws with the provided hex key. I found the frame was tapped and threaded so uniformly that I could only turn one screw by hand 3/4 of the way down, the rest only made it 1/4 the way before I had to use the hex key. The engagement with the hardware and frame was very solid, there's no washers and there's no need for washers. The frame doesn't really move where it connects and you'd have to be rocking dangerously on the barstool to try and shake anything loose. The threads tapped into the frame really did match the hardware threads well. I'm a tradesman with good hand strength, good with tools and all the frame screws took me a reasonable amount of effort to send home just using the included hex key. I didn't feel like I stripped out the threads at all, quite the opposite, since the threads weren't ran through I felt everything was really secure. I would recommend using a T handled 5.5mm hex key or perhaps a 5.5mm hex key socket on a ratchet. The instructions said assembly is approximately 10 minutes, I don't mind that it took longer because of the care of packaging, how the hardware assembled and the overall quality of the barstool. I did place this on top of another counter height chair and it made assembly straight forward. I found the foam cushion great on my butt and comfortable when seated both ways. I like that it fits right under the counter or I can stack the next one I get side by side. Just a good simple bar stool at counter height. ... show more

This stool is highly durable. Although its long-term durability remains to be tested, its sturdy frame and comfortable cushion make it appear to be well-built and sturdy.
