  • Great alarm
Good alarm. Takes a couple hours to install. If you’re not experienced in wiring car radios and such I’d suggest watch some videos first then find a wire diagram of your car. I looked up 98 mustang alarm wires ( my car ) and found where the wires needed and what colors they were. I’ve installed a lot of electrical stuff in cars. First alarm and the only problem I had was I had to swap a positive and negative for my door locks cause they were backwards Making the alarm armed when it was unlocked which was incorrect on the info I found not sellers. Easy fix and it works great. Didn’t get trunk release to work but I haven’t fiddled with it yet cause it not extremely important to me ... show more

  • Does the job
I’m only using the motion sensor and shock sensor for my old pick up truck. If anyone gets in the truck it goes off. I can’t speak for all the other features but the motion sensor works well. Shock sensor doesn’t seem to be working. If I get that figured out I’ll adjust review later on. Took a star off for it. ... show more

  • It Does Work
For the price, you'd be hard pressed to find another alarm kit with the same amount of features. I am a former Team Lead for Mercedes-Benz so wiring and Electrical diagnosis are right in my wheel house but it took me some extra time to figure the wiring out for this alarm, especially the way the instructed to install the relay for the kill switch. Instead of the kill switch being integrated into the the actual alarm module (like on Viper Alarm systems) they have you wire in a relay into the ignition switch wire that the module ground side switches to activate the relay when you disarm the system. During install (1999 Honda Civic), I triple checked that each wire I tapped into was the correct wire on the vehicle, before I connected anything. Then once all that was confirmed, I wired each function one at a time and double checked that the feature worked before moving onto the next feature. So I am 1,000% sure I wired everything correctly according to the Banvie Instructions. With that being said, I am having a weird door trigger issue. The feature works as designed when the alarm is activated, however, it flashes the parking lights, when you open any door, and continues to flash the parking lights until the door open/dome light timer times out. If you have the car on and open a door, the flashing of the parking lights never stops. The only thing I can think of, is the alarm module is in a certain mode but there's no instructions on how to change this mode. Pros - It works. Key fobs feel like solid quality Cons - Poor install instructions. Weird parking light flashing feature when opening the car doors. ... show more

  • There are better options for the price. Avital 3100
First off the unit had been previously used or returned. As one of the remotes is obviously worn and not working. Also. Unit is defective, as it pulsates a single siren sound rather than full constant siren with 6 sounds. Goes off at random, is quite annoying. I received a replacement that was new and still have the problem of it going off for no reason. My vehicle has no charging problems , thus there is no reason for the alarm to siren at random. Im not going to return it again but I’m replacing with an Avital 3100. A lesson learned, stick with an established quality alarm company. Avital/Viper ... show more

  • great!!!!
The alarm for its price is just super. Those who write about thin wires, I can answer - on all alarms, the wires are standard. I have installed a lot of alarms in my life, and I can say that the alarm is normal for its price. Yes, I had to tinker. But having a multimeter and tools on hand is not difficult. The only thing is that to connect the trunk actuator, I had to buy a relay. But in general, everything is great. ... show more
