I bought another cheaper brand and then ended up throwing them in the trash because they were covered in splinters. This brand was perfect! Silky smooth texture, no splinters, perfect size. Just a note: I don't use these for coffee. I use them to mix my cat's medicine in with her food and they work perfect for that. The case is a bonus and keeps the stirrers neatly contained. A cardboard box would work just as well and be more environmentally friendly than the plastic case. Great value overall. Recommended.

I love bamboo stir sticks. I often do not want to pay the price for them but I have tried the plain wood ones and they splinter. It's rarer to have that issue with the bamboo. These are pre-wrapped which makes them great in an office setting or where multiple hands are involved. I do wish they would offer one that was not pre-wrapped but has the container. My hand is the only one that touches them so the pre-wrap is just extra trash. I open multiple at a time and store them in my own little container beside the coffee pot while the rest get put in the cabinet. I probably will not order these again simply because I am not the target user. I will however be keeping the container to store the next ones I order that are not pre-wrapped and just come in a plastic bag. The container is sturdy and fairly well made.
