This is a really solid bar stool. It looks fantastic, with a bit of an antique flare from the leather. Mine arrived pre-assembled, though whether this was a Vine perk or the standard is anyone's guess. The hardware and seating are both good quality, and it fits neatly into a number of aesthetics.

I’d been looking for a nice, casual bar stool to use at my kitchen island now and then and this one is perfect. It’s sturdy but not too heavy, so it’s easy to move in and out of the kitchen. It’s really well built and the wood is smooth and pretty. The faux leather strips are strong and comfortable to sit on and the gray is nice and neutral. This is what you can expect to happen after six months of light use. Unfortunately I ordered four more of these before this began to happen. These same stools in counter height are sold by World Market under another brand. Their reviews show the same problem that I had. The reviews on Amazon don't show problem. Wonder why. Buyer be ware.
