We purchased two of these to have in our patio when we have guest over. We recently had two back to back parties for my mom and mother-n-law and they came in handy. It was very easy for one person to put together and only took me 45 mins for the first one and 20 mins for the second one. The heat output is really good and because they're not tall like your conventional ones... it maintains your guest nice and warm. We get a lot of compliments and they create a nice ambiance. The spiral emitter does rust after a few runs but that's expected when it's throwing that much of a flame. However, I wouldn't knock any stars for that since it's still functional and more of an aesthetic issue. Overall, we are happy with our purchase and recommend it. ... show more

We bought four patio heaters to test them and and see which ones we wanted to buy more of. This one was by far the weakest, omitting the least amount of heat. I went to return it and this seller does not allow returns. Very disappointed. It seems there is a reason they do not accept returns - they do not stand behind their product. ... show more

I wish the heat distribution was a little better. You have to sit right next to it, to feel any real heat but the two heaters I have for my 10x12 area provides just enough to stay comfortable. The look of these is the best and they fit where I need them to. Overall I am happy with this purchase.

I was so excited to find this product! I love being on my patio and wanted a good heat source during the colder months. When I ran across this, I knew it would be perfect. It wasn’t difficult to assemble and I really like the heat distribution. It’s 360 degrees of heat…cozy & toasty!

This heater… First was sent somewhere else, had to contact Amazon and seller, finally got it. We used a few times at some cool nights, it worked great, feels like outdoor restaurant. Assembled it, wasn’t that hard, but it’s definitely a two people job, need someone to hold, make sure is aligned, then you can complete it. ... show more

    • Nice looking, but not enough heat to matter
I’ve been in contact with support and am running their gauntlet of check this and try that’s…but here my initial review anyway, right reserved to change if something gets resolved. Firstly, this was purchased as it had good reviews and was the only unit I could find that safely fit within our height limitations. I didn’t want to go over 6’ due to our 9’ ceiling height, and it is a very attractive unit compared to everything else we saw under 6’. Assembly took me about an hour, very casually, alone and with only basic tools, so I gave it 4* there as it is truly a one person job with minimal frustration. Then I rolled it out onto our 3 season porch and lit ‘er up. The “dancing” flame is attractive enough, but I wouldn’t call it a dance, or a spiral, it’s just not straight, which is just fine and pleasing to look at. Heat is where this unit fails. Miserably. Our enclosure is approximately 12’x16’. This unit, placed near center, provides near zero difference in temperature feel unless you are standing within 3-4’. The only time a significant temperature difference is felt is within 2’ of the unit. I repeat, “standing within” because as soon as you sit, even 3’ away, being lower than the flame makes it unnoticeable. To be exact, with the temp outside the enclosure at 35 degrees, the temp inside the enclosure after the flame was on high for 30 minutes reads 37 degrees 8’ from the flame. Anyway, I’ve been asked to remove the preassembled regulator line to ensure it’s clear and try a different propane tank and will amend this review if anything changes. The box was so large that we disposed of it immediately on assembly, so I have no idea how or if it’s returnable. Support gets 3* so far as they typically respond within a day, but so far have only asked for me to do more. Bottom line is unless the heat is resolved, this isn’t worth 1/3 of the asking price as it is strictly cosmetic. ... show more
