For the money these are not bad at all. Solid construction, super easy to assemble, nice foam padding on the bars, and the spring loaded knobs for the height adjustment are really well made and functional compared to a lot of the cheap ones you normally get. great dip machine, a little wide set though, so probably best for wider shoulder people

This is a great dip machine. Its actually my second bar. I had one of the loop style bars, and it worked ok, but it was a little low to the ground, even at the highest setting, so it was difficult to get full extension. This machine goes together fairly easily, and it comes with the tools needed, though it would be faster with real tools. The bars are set a little wide, and this could put your shoulders in a bad situation, if you go too fast. I have previously injured a shoulder from doing dips too fast, so I am acutely aware of the danger. For me the wider grip is a subtle reminder to mind my technique. I really like the potential height for this bar. It allows me to get full extension, and I do a knee raise at the end which allows me to get full shoulder rotation, which really seems to put extra emphasis on my upper chest at the top of each rep. I am 210 to 220 and about 6'0" tall (short legged). This machine feels stable and durable for my size. I love the setup, and I am glad my son talked me in to giving him my previous loop bar. I keep this at my office and I hit dips about every 1.5 hours. ITs a nice little refresher from sitting at my desk. My wife appreciates what it does for my chest and shoulders as well.

Pretty good, happy so far.

About what I expected for the price and honestly if I didn’t know, I’d think it was closer to the $100 range. Easy to assemble, welds look decent, frame itself is sturdy and doesn’t rock or move. My only concern is when the handles are towards the top of their range, they flex a little more than I’m comfortable with. Might just be a me probably as I’m 6’6” about 245. Other than that it’s been a great addition to the home gym and is pretty versatile.

Great Product for the Money!

This is a nice addition to my home gym and doesn’t come with a large footprint. Relatively easy to assemble, fitting the tube covers onto the base was surprisingly a bit difficult as it was a tight fit and I had to stretch them out. However, the rest was relatively easy to assemble. This is a very sturdy piece of equipment for the price, as I tried it out with a chain belt with a 10 lb. plate, and plan on going up. I’m about 5’11, well built, certainly above average in the shoulders but I’m not the biggest guy. I didn’t find the grips to be way too far apart like a lot of the reviews, but could see it being a little wide for those that are slight of build. This targeted my chest and triceps well and is a great product! It looks great, is high quality for the money and will get the job done! Be sure that the lock pins are lining up and fastened tightly.

Missing welds
Color: White
It came with missing welds on the parts that hold the adjustor knob in position. One knob is already bent even before use. This makes it unsafe to use as is. Based on the other reviewers comments I don't plan on returning it since that would be a hassle. I'll just add a new hole in the steel and slide a bolt through it and not use the knob, since I plan on using it in a single configuration for dips. This explains why it is so inexpensive.

Slightly wide for females

Exactly as pictured. Very sturdy. Appears good quality. Holds weight well. No ability to change width and could be shorter width for females, but overall it is effective for what is was purchased for. Grips are comfortable.

Needs adjustable width.

I'm generally pleased with the quality, but these bars are crazy wide. I'm going to have to modify this to better fit my body. I'm comfortable doing that but if you're not, I would strongly suggest getting adjustable dip bars! They should be basically the width of your shoulders apart...these are like a foot wider for me. Otherwise, solid for the price.
