The media could not be loaded. Perfect for home workouts! No more need for the long drive to class if I can even get into class. It’s very smooth and easy for all workouts including cardio sculpt with the jump board. I purchased it separately as well as the box(box is disappointing though-it’s styrofoam! Yuc) I’ve had the machine for 2 weeks and have been able to do multiple classes. I this it’s a decent value for the money because the cost of classes is $179 monthly and this pays for itself within a year. The size is great- I’m tall-5’9” and it has a way to put together for a taller frame or petite. It’s not the worst folding to put away just make sure you get the library wheels to roll it away. They have videos showing how to put together. I do intermediate to advanced pilates and I’m able to do everything on the Metro IQ. And delivery came a week ahead of schedule. ... show more

Wow! I'm so impressed and thrilled to have this machine! Expert craftsmanship and attention to detail and the fact that it folds smaller is the reason why I can fit this in my apartment. I can pretty much do everything that I can do at the pilates studio in the comfort of my living room! It fits under my daybed/couch or in my coat closet. If you store it under something you'll have to remove the foot bar, shoulder rests and rope poles but it only takes a couple minutes to reinstall. It is fairly heavy to move but it has wheels. You just have to be able to pull it up. Another tip, I wrapped rubber bands around the ropes to mark my spot and measured them to make sure they're even. I'm loving having this at home. I have spent a small fortune each month attending reformer classes at a local studio. This year, I decided to invest in a reformer and start practicing at home. My workout room has many purposes - home office, workout area, sewing room. The Metro IQ reformer is the perfect choice for me. One of the other things I like about having a reformer at home is being able to work out every day versus two to 3 times a week (because of time and convenience). At 70, I also like that I can customize the intensity of the workouts to my abilities. The studio classes seemed to be geared to younger, more athletic clients. I was able to set up the reformer by myself easily, and it only takes a minute to extend and retract. Balanced Body customer service was excellent when I realized they shipped the wheelbarrow version instead of the library wheels I ordered. They shipped out the new wheels and provided a shipping label for the return of the wrong wheels. I recommend upgrading to padded loops, adding neoprene handles for comfort, a foot strap, and the long box. All in all, a great reformer for the money. ... show more

I like the reformer. It's telescoping capability means you can stow it away. It has wheels. Overall the delivery and install process was pretty good. It comes 85% assembled, you have a few more steps to do, that there is a video for. The video kind of sucks b/c it is taken from one angle far away, they don't have any close up shots edited in. Anyway, a rep from Balanced Body will answer your questions, help you get clarification and send you any missing items. I had a few hiccups with some missing or ill fitting items which got resolved. They forgot to send me a foot strap. I needed a new handle with better screws (stripping, one hole was loose, one was too tight), etc. The most annoying thing is the cotton foot or hand strap. Balanced Body considers it all in one. But the length is too long. You need to order the foot/hand combo strap separately in addition to the total purchase. The rep at BB told me to get the padded which I did. Now I am all set. But I had to order this hand/foot strap directly from BB as it is not avail thru Amazon. It should have just come with the order. But oh when some corp genius had to go cheap and provide or include only a cheap cotton one sized strap. But BB did grant me a tiny discount. So it made my wallet hurt a little less. I am happy with the machine and glad to have it in my home office. It makes working out much easier. The reformer itself is 5 stars. Well built. ... show more

I purchased this reformer because I was familiar with Body Balance products from my gym. This home reformer is of the same quality as the studio reformers. It shipped faster than expected and was almost completely put together. The final touches only took abut 15 minutes. It is very easy to set up and then store standing up. Moving parts (pullies, wheels, gliding parts) are very smooth. Customer service was fantastic.
