When I unpacked this blue Bakken set, it felt like I had just given my kitchen a fresh start. The first thing I tried was a simple scrambled egg test and it slid around the pan like it was greeting me. No sticking, no scraping, no soaking the pan afterward. With these, everything warms up evenly. One night I made a big pot of pasta sauce and it simmered without any angry little burnt patches forming on the bottom. I did not have to babysit it the way I used to. I also love that I can move from my gas stove to my induction hot plate without worrying if the cookware will cooperate. The set handles high heat without fuss, and when I lift the lids there is this little moment where the steam rises and the food looks so good it feels like I planned the whole meal instead of throwing it together after work. Cleanup has been the true treat. I am usually the person who lets pans soak overnight because I cannot deal with scrubbing. With these, I rinse and they are done. On nights when I am really tired, they go straight in the dishwasher and come out looking new again.     • I’m obsessed with my pink pots
Color: Pink Size: Pack of 12
I’ve always found that beautiful cookware brings me great joy to use. I wanted my kitchen to be pretty and happy when I chose this color and it did not disappoint. The color is soft and creamy and looks rich, not bubblegum pink. It looks great in my kitchen. As far as performance, the ceramic non-stick coating is slick and non-stick. I always use a little oil because I’m of that generation but I really don’t think it’s necessary. Cleanup has just been a rinse under hot water for the most part, that’s how non-stick they are. They are all. Metal and rated for use up to 500F so they can go from stove top to oven. The pots have glass lids to see and monitor cooking and there are steam vents in the lids to prevent over boiling. The pans are lightweight which I appreciate but they still feel substantial. They don’t bend or warp when cooking and heat evenly. These were a great bargain for a good quality set of pots. ... show more
