    • Great for farm or field use. A functional utility scooter
I live on a 35 acre property. Getting from the barn to a distal fence line or property line is often a long walk. There are times I need a tool in the barn but I'm 2000 feet away in the home. I can walk it, but it is time consuming and often needs to be done over and over. This scooter is great for easy and quick transportation. If I need a hammer, or a new battery for a power tool, or forgot a wrench, I can hop on the scooter and be back in minutes. It is solid and comfortable to use. I like the fact that it's not an e bike. I can jump on it standing, power to the location and hop off. A kick stand keeps it upright till I need to head back. I have used it for going across fields, back trails, and gravel drives with rocks. The large 24 inch balloon tires absorb every rut and go over the fields without an issue. There are front shocks and a rear suspension that makes the terrain smooth. The bike arrives in a box and can be assembled with only basic skills in about 45 minutes. The stem is adjustable for multiple heights allowing anyone to stand comfortably and ride. Brakes are hydraulic disc brakes and provide lots of stopping power. This is a solid work scooter. It weighs about 70 pounds. Not light, but not fragile. They advertise this as a hunting scooter. I use it as a farm utility scooter. A few reasons for four stars. The rear rack does not come with a pannier or rear basket to put thing in to keep them stable. The front comes with an optional wire rack, but again, no basket or cover. If you have to carry tools or light object, there are aftermarket options, but it would be nice if they came with the scooter. Additionally, the motor is a 1000 watt rear hub. This is a lot of power for a geared e-bike. But, a scooter is a direct drive system. There are no gears to improve the power of the output. This scooter will go almost 30 mph on the flat road. It is good on hills but an incline of more than 12 degrees makes it stall if there is no momentum. I have used it on trails and stopped on inclines. I need to power walk it to get it going. Granted, that kind of incline is rare, but it's worth noting. Adding more power through a front hub is an interesting aftermarket upgrade which might be worth pursuing if there is a need. So, a great utility scooter. Solid, well made, and pretty much perfect for almost all conditions and surfaces. ... show more
