The Revolver X2 aluminum hard rolling truck bed cover made with durable aluminum slats that sit flush with the truck bed for a stylish, low profile appearance. Easy installation, done within an hour and a half. Looks sleek and is very high quality. The only con I have is that when latching, the east side requires me to pull down on the wire to get it to latch, rather than just being able to simply push down on the corner and it latch itself. Not sure if this is due to it needing to be “broken in” or not, but it isn’t a huge inconvenience. Also, if you have a SPRAY IN BED LINER: the sticky weather stripping will NOT adhere! To resolve this issue, I bought double sided Gorilla Glue tape and put that down first on the bulkhead of my truck bed, then followed with the weather stripping provided in the package. Super easy to install by myself. So many videos online showing different techniques made it simple. I love clean look, no hinges like a trifold cover. Quiet. Very impressed! There is a minor flaw in one rail I'm hoping BAK will compensate me for thus the 4 instead of 5. It's not a "show" truck so I'm gonna accept it as is. ... show more

First, the bad - When I received this cover, the vendor of it was selling it as new. When it arrived, it was obvious that the part had been opened by a customer, returned, and then shipped to me. The nuts and bolts were in zip-loc baggies, and other parts were randomly strewn about the box. So, i took a careful inventory of the parts i had, and started assembling the cover. The parts were all there, but, one of the rails had a small tab that was broken, which made the cover pretty much unusable. I was a pretty sad camper that evening! So, I sent an email to BAK about it. Keep in mind this was a Friday evening, and I figured that at BEST I'd maybe hear from them sometime the next week. I kid you not - Within an hour i had a response, and was assured that the replacement parts were on their way! A few days later for fedex to ship the new parts to my door, and i was a happy clam with a newly installed cover. I've never seen service so quick. As for the installed cover It's about what I had expected. The aluminum cover flexes just a little bit with a little load on - A bag of groceries, case of beer, etc, will flex the part a little if you put it in the middle of the cover. Still, the ability of it to stand up to snow better, and the added security of the aluminum slats make the part well worth it over a soft cover in my opinion. Bottom line - The cover, especially the rails seem susceptible to shipping damage. BAK however, is very good about getting replacement parts if needed. Otherwise, the part is about what you'd expect - a stiffer, more secure, rolling tonneau cover. Lastly, a suggestion for BAK - In the future, you may want to put the spring return tabs and springs into a separate place than on the rail assemblies - Even in the replacement parts, I had one the tabs slightly bent. Considering that on the first pair, one was broken entirely, this seems to be a regular problem. I'd recommend that you put them in a separate bag instead of on the rail itself. Using a screwdriver to attach the tabs at home rather than have them bent in shipping would have saved people a lot of headache in my case. (And possibly the guy before me that had the cover too!) ... show more

Bought this cover for my 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 crew cab because I liked the roll up design, it didn't cover up the back window completely when rolled back and my last tonneau cover from BAK was a good product. I figured this would make it easier to haul larger items. Here are the problems I ran into: First of all there was a broken metal piece that held the spring that retracts the locking mechanism when it was delivered. (see picture) I was able to fix that by running to the hardware store and modifying a piece they sold. Next, the rubber that is along the edges of the cover was improperly installed in the factory or the glue failed during storage and delivery. It was misaligned and the edges were popping up along the section towards the cab. Next the design of this where it meets the front and back makes it virtually impossible for this to keep out water. I have tried to adjust it several times and each time it has leaked. I also used a hair dryer to try and get them to lay down like it says in the instructions, but it did not work. I understand these are not 100% water proof, but this design doesn't even come close to keeping out water. (see pictures) The rubber curls up near the cab and towards the tailgate. Where it meets at the corners, there is a gap on all four corners. It was relatively easy to install, and the rolling mechanism works well. However, the craftsman ship is poor and the water repelling design is junk. I'm contemplating returning it, but I already installed it and it is a major inconvenience to return it due to its size.. ... show more

**UPDATE** Had the damaged cover replaced with no issue. Now after a couple years of use I wish I had the latest model with the much needed updates. The newest model got rid of the felt (mine came unglued) and replaced it with the rubber grips. They also added end caps to keep the tailgate corners sealed (this is where mine leaks - everywhere else is dry). Another issue I had was one of the clips broke to hold the cover open. Customer service was good though when I called for all my issues, they are sending me spare clips and end caps free of charge. I already re-glued my felt strips, it's too bad they can send you the new rubber ones (different design to hold them in place). Overall it's done it's job and looks great, but the previous model (the one I have) has it's issues. **Original Review** Nice design and overall good product. Unfortunately it arrived damaged, like others have seen. Didn't notice the damage until after I installed it. The locking end piece on one of the slats was broken off. Fast ship, easy to install. Great access compared to others. Easy to roll up. The rubber edges do get wrinkled and do not sit flat, but they recommend using a hot air gun to flatten them. If you are looking for waterproof, keep looking. If you are looking for an easy to install cover for your truck bed and something that will allow you to use the entire bed, with a cover that is stronger than simple vinyl, then this is a great cover. ... show more

Leaks a little when it rains right at the tailgate door. The water travels in about a foot. Also leaks a little in one corner by the cab. Only had it a few months but really like the way it rolls up so far. I would recommend it for the ease of installation, security and the convenience of being able to roll it up to make use of most of the bed. Just deal with the leaking. Can't figure out a way to solve that problem . ... show more
