Bought this because my eight-year-old is getting into basketball. Great product for the price and assembly was straight forward. My son can easily adjust the height because this has a screw type adjustment. My only complaint is now my eight-year-old is kicking my ass at HORSE.

Great quality basketball goal. Just a heads up to all the parents who purchased this for little ones. Be sure to catch the note in the instructions to only install two poles instead of three if you want the end result to be under 8 feet. We missed that part, even though it was clearly stated in the instructions, just due to the sheer excitement of finally having a goal of our own. It is not an easy fix and requires quite a bit of disassembly to remove that extra pole after the fact. Learn from us and do it right the first time. The seller was extremely helpful in resending a PDF of the instructions we had tossed out after we thought our assembly job was through. ... show more

This is a nice goal. The directions were pretty straightforward and easy to follow. The crank to lift the goal height is very easy to use (a child will have no problem adjusting it on their own). HOWEVER it gets 4 stars because it is NOT easy to switch between the smaller height range of 5.3ft-7.3ft to the higher range of 8ft.-10ft. You have to take apart the entire assembly and add or remove the middle pole then reassemble. The good highlights are- -The base is compact and very sturdy -The rebound bottom is nice -The backboard is beautiful and functional -Kids can adjust the rim height with ease As long as you don’t want to go from a much smaller goal for little kids to the larger size for older kids/adults often this is a great goal. ... show more

DO NOT BUY, first, the setup takes around 2-3 hours, not ideal if you want to save time. And the rim breaks easily. But the worst part, it fell twice. Sure it was windy, but every other hoop on our street was up, that mainly was the Lifetime hoop. The first time, it fell forward, and made the rim break easily into a weird shape. Then, it fell again, but this time the whole pole connecting to the bottom snapped. Unusable. Choose other brands. And the hoop itself was very loud. AGAIN, DO NOT BUY. ... show more
