I bought this to have on hand 'just in case' I needed an ice pack while recovering from surgery. I bought a slew of other things, too, but this was by far the most useful and most appreciated. I like that it comes with two 'packs' (one pink, one blue). I use one for 20 minutes, then pop it in the freezer, and the next time I want to ice I can just grab the second one from the freezer. So one is always super cold, which is nice. The packs are easy to slip into the 'belt' and the 'belt' it adjustable. I was using this on my back, and it fit very comfortably. I didn't have to adjust it at all once it was on. I did try to use it on my calf, but there was no way I could get it to stay shut and it kept sliding off. The packs are also microwavable, I haven't tried that yet but I would imagine that this product would be fantastic for menstrual cramps. ... show more

I’m getting ready for a trip to Disney and was worried about being comfortable in the parks because of low back pain, this fits the bill perfectly. I’m glad it has 2 pads. So easy to switch out inn the freezer. I’m bringing a lunch bag cooler to carry them so fingers crossed they last a little while. I haven’t used them with heat yet. I have a 42 inch waist and it just fits so if you’re larger it might not work for you. This brought such relief to my back and is so easy to use. It molds to your back and is wide enough to cover a good size area. It is thin enough to lay on and thick enough to stay quite cold for 20 - 30 minutes. The gel packs absolutely get ice cold and are easy and mess free to slip into the pocket. They freeze quickly so you always have one ready to use. The Velcro and wide band kept the pack in place. This is the best heat/cool wrap I have ever used. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is nit picking on my part. I think the pad portion could stand to be 1/4 inch wider on both sides. The rest of it is great! The wrap and both pads are high quality. The pocket is sized exactly correct. The seams are faultless. The belt material has the correct elasticity to conform to my body and stay in place. The gel packs are very efficient. First time heating I recommend starting 50% for 30 seconds the first time and then slowly increasing power and time. I think you will find they heat up quickly. And, the Velcro closure actually works and doesn't pop loose when you sit down. ... show more

This belt is easy to use when you need to ice your sore back. I only use it for cold, I have not tried it heated. It's great as it has 2 inserts so you are never without a cold pack. Very comfortable, easy to use in bed or when walking around.

I love this. It heats great for 90 seconds. The heat lasts for quite a while and the pack stays put where you need it. Then after the heat I used the ice pack. The relief I get is amazing.

The belt does not fit, and the company could so easily include an extension piece of velcro to fit larger customers. The ice pack is a great shape for lumbar pain, and fits well under my back brace. It really does ice for about 20 minutes but it takes a while to freeze back up. That's why it's important to have two packs so you always have one freezing. I think it's a great buy for anyone with a 44 inch waist or less. ... show more
