We have 7 dogs and a cat that doesn't like any of them. The slideable little door works great and you can lock it up or down for quick and easy entry and exit. You can also open it to walk through and will self close. It's made well, easy to install and stays in place.

No issues with delivery or order. I like the gate it’s a good length for the doorway/area I needed blocked off. Looks very nice and not junky. The door opening mechanism is strong and it takes me both hands to press and lift the door especially with my hand strength. I wish it was a taller gate however this will work fine. And I wish the cat door was a tad bigger, but the cats are using it and that is good to go. Overall very good gate for my needs! ... show more

A little confusing to figure out at first and difficult to set up by yourself, but once up, it’s solid. The door shutting is a bit loud, but it’s a small price to pay to keep places safe spaces for your cat.

We bought a pair of these gates to limit our dog's access to our cat's spaces, particularly our daughter's bedroom (the cat's home base) and the laundry room (litter box). They were very easy to install, and the included extensions made it easy to custom fit them to different size doorways. They look nice and feel sturdy. The cat got the hang of the door immediately, and the ability to leave the gate open or have it automatically shut behind you is convenient--especially in places like the laundry room where you may have your hands full. Positives: it works as a gate with a cat door. Negatives: if I walk through the door I always have to walk back and make sure the door closed and latched. The latching mechanism has a top and bottom latch. The top one can retract with a handle button, the bottom does not. You have to lift the gate up to open it making the top latch button (to retract it) pointless (unless you tape the bottom latch closed). If you have a big dog they can push the gate open even if latched closed. I would definitely recommend a different one way opening gate over this one. Extremely well made at a reasonable price! High quality materials! Easy to install with extensions for wider doors. Opens easily and the auto-close feature is nice! Our cats freely come and go while keeping our dogs out. I can’t say enough about how well made and sturdy it is. Highly recommended!
