The cushions need to havw more padding in them. After having these for a few years the cushions are very flat from using them so often and I have not been able to find anything to replace them. Also, the backs that are adjustable dont work like they used to. They go up and down but dont match up next to one another so one is always leaning farther back than the other. Not bad for the cost and I still love and use it, juat wish those 2 things I could fix ... show more

I ordered a custom sofa from Macy’s that was going to take 3 months to receive so I bought this one for under $400 and it is great! The back reclines and lays flat into a futon style bed. The middle has a hard bump area- not noticeable by eye only when sitting on it but got the price …well worth it.

VERSATILE - The versatility of having a set that can be chairs, chairs with ottomans or fully recline and become 2 chaise lounges is awesome. I like that it allows you to store the cushions right in the unit instead of shoving them in a bin or leaving them in to face the weather. ASSEMBLY- Instructions were great - a color booklet with page by page steps with images and they include letters on every item so it’s easy to do it right. My husband and I did it together in an hour or so. It was helpful to have 2 people, but not mandatory- although one or 2 steps worked best if someone held it in place while the other person used the little hex wrench to screw things together. STURDINESS- The resin wicker is sturdy and has a light 2-tone pattern, so it’s not boring. STYLE- The cushions are the perfect red and thick enough and seem well constructed- although not as thick as expensive furniture, but I expected that. The combo of dark brown wicker and red is very warm and inviting. FUNCTIONALITY- The back adjusts like clicker chaise lounges where you push it forward then drop it all the way flat and click up to the level you want and there are plenty of options for reclining. COMFORT- The one thing to watch for is the seat width, as it is not as wide as a full size chaise. It is comfortable for each of us, but not much arm room by your sides if you want to lay flat to sunbathe. SHIPPING - quicker than they estimated and both boxes were well packed and organized. The overall look and feel of this set is very good, and the comfort of being able to sit straight up, recline, or lie completely flat, is hard to find elsewhere, particularly at this price point. That isn't to say there aren't some drawbacks here. The main one for me is concerns about long-term durability. After about six weeks of use, one of the welds near the reclining mechanism broke. The seller, Joyous Home, was very responsive and helpful in resolving the problem, so my hope is that this was just a bad weld, but I can't help but wonder if this could be a flaw in the product design. Only time will tell, but for now I'm satisfied with the purchase and hopeful it holds up. One other drawback is that the cushions that are included are quite thin, probably so that it can fold flat and so they can be stored in the ottomans. This reduces comfort a bit, but if you're willing to deal with the set not folding flat when not in use, replacing the cushions with thicker ones can improve comfort significantly. Our patio chairs had cushions that fit almost perfectly, and using these, this is a very comfortable set. ... show more

Came in two large boxes. Shipping had gouged a box but the contents were unharmed. It takes a while to assemble, just just go slow and steady and it goes together fine. Some people have said on here the screw holes are sometimes missaligned, but that is just the variables in the wicker material. One of the tiny hinge pins fell out due to gravity (and my flipping it around while assembling it) both one side tray and an ottoman, but they slipped back in easy and now that it is assembled that is unlikely to be an issue. The first position we tried is the all flat daybed arrangement with the glass storage table to the side and we have found we like this best with the back lifted 3 clicks. Be sure to get yourself a few outdoor throw pillows and then it becomes a great stage to sink into lounging. This goes perfectly with a loveseat we already had albeit slightly different cushion shade of turquoise. We keep our cushioned ottoman in front of this new reclining loveseat and use the 2nd ottoman in front of out older loveseat. My guess is any complaints anyone may have about this will be shipping related rather than product satisfaction. ... show more

Update: I was eventually contacted by a manager who shipped a new box containing a replacement part. I will have to reassemble the seat but this should fix the issue. I am changing my original rating from 3 stars to 5 since they eventually did the right thing and solved the problem. Original message below... This is a nice set and I really wish there were no issues. However, mine came with a defect where one of the legs was welded on an angle, I'm not sure the photo does it justice but hopefully it helps. This makes it almost impossible to slide the ottoman under without physically pulling the leg back. It hasn't been used enough yet to tell if the leg will hold structurally over time, or if it will eventually fail. I contacted the seller asking if they could possibly ship me just the defective piece. Their response was an apology, the part is out of stock, they offered $10 to compensate (for a $399 purchase), and I quote... "Could you mind fix it by yourself to see if it will affect the normal use?" I wrote back and it's been about a week with no response. I like the set and would rather have a replacement part than a payment, but I assume I'm stuck with this as-is. I hope your experience is better than mine. ... show more
